Who are going to be our CBs for this one? Williamson and ...?

Whoever it is they are not going to be good enough to keep the goals scored by Arsenal to under 4 that's for sure. The handicap betting on Arsenal to win at 15/8 looks like money for nothing to me.

Knowing Carver he'll stick that man mountain Anita at CB rather than stick Janmaat there.

If he doesn't play the kids, then I can see Jonas being thrown into CB.
He's played full back before, is tall, and is a good reader of the game.
If Wenger can chuck MD into CB as a one off then surely we can look at Jonas.

At least 4 or 5-0. Absolute battering at stake here, Arsenal play what we can't defend against - it's called football. Giroud will murder Williamson and the rest will run circles around us. The pace they have is scary at the best of times, and the only players of note we have are already checked out. The likes of Sissoko and Janmaat will be aware that relegation, worst case, would just see them move on to a top flight club. If we stay up, they'll just be sold on anyway, so there's no incentive to stay and do well.

I genuinely think we're going down next year if we survive this. I don't think Ashley/Charnley understand the 'economics' (for want of a better word) of football, i.e. showing no ambition doesn't just disillusion fans, it affects players and potential target players too.

Ashley might be a clever, ruthless and astute businessman, but when it comes to football he hasn't got a clue. You cannot hope to compete on a shoestring in the Premier League. It may work for 2-3 seasons but eventually it catches up with you. You need to spend some serious money to even have a hope of being competitive. I think we'll go down next season irrespective of who we bring in as 'head coach' in the summer [assuming Carver ****s off.] Our 'squad' is awful. Our first team is the worst I have seen during our Premier League years. We are simply lucky that there are several teams below us that are even worse than us. You can guarantee that our 2-3 'better' players [Perez, Sissoko, Krul] will leave in the summer. What will that leave? Pinning our hopes on Sammy Ameobi and Gouffran to earn us points. **** that.

Yeah I think Colback was our leading scorer in the starting linuep yesterday with 3..... I expect we lose this one miserably. If we conceded 3 against a **** everton I think this might be a 7-0 type affair. Sanchez will be sitting at home laughing his balls off at the idea of going agianst raylor and mike williamson.

Why are people still talking about or even contemplating going to games anymore? Especially when we are going to get another hiding!
I don't even want to think about how awful this match will be.
Arsenal will skin us alive and this my friends is all we have to look firwRds to. Stay away and force him out, until Ashley is gone there is nothing but misery and humiliation.

I'll stick £1 on each of 0-5, 0-6 and 0-7 to soften the blow.

No doubt Heed will be rubbing his hands together as he adds Cazorla, Sanchez and Giroud to his fantasy team.

As long as we don't score, there's a decent chance to make some money.

By the way, thanks for the PM with your top tips for the FF. I really appreciate the advice and I truly respect your insight and superior fantasy footy skills, but are you really, really sure this is ghis right week for me to add Colo, Riviere and De Jong to my team? If you think so then I'll go for it. <cheers>
