Thank God, I've been reading through these as I thought surely someone will state the bloody obvious and, thankfully, OLM did, as it was plainly needed.
What makes you think that look at it the other way around, the so called CTWD at its hight of popularity couldn't muster enough support then to win the ballot
Seeing that CTWD is no more, will the newly formed HCST be campaigning against the name change or will it need a vote of members before taking this action ?
The burden of proof isn't resting on "so-called" CTWD. That is a key difference which negates your point
You are right in that a further application had never been ruled out by the FA, but I believe AA is sufficiently astute to realise that he does not have a business case so will try other, more obnoxious methods, which keeps him perfectly in character. All of this was predictable and all of it is totally unnecessary.
But calling the FA biased is hardly gonna further his cause is it. He's obviously not got rich through diplomacy
CTWD never entered any ballot. The one the club ran is completely discredited as the utter piece of crap it was in this report. Seriously, have a read of it. One of the trust's main aims is to protect the identity of the club. That won't need anyone's approval to continue. At the moment there's no need for a formal campaign because there's still no name change application.
You are then indeed entitled to be called the good Dr as opposed to Mr fake sheik Allam, who I would never address as Dr as long as Ive hole in my booty facing downwards
The "ballot" as everyone knows was a complete farce. As a long standing pass holder I never received a ballot paper and I know of many more like me.
""The Club was made aware of the importance attached to its supporters' views & took the position that they were irrelevant or barely relevant" That's you.
No,no.it was the club's decision to ballot ALL pass holders. As such they should have sent out ballot papers.
I don't see a problem with that it's no different to the owner of business changing the company name he doesn't have to get approval from the workers beforehand.
