Actually they're not. It's pretty smart to hit it down the middle. Chances are the keeper will dive. He's just got to mix it up.

The problem is he should hit them into the roof of the net if he does that so they are unstoppable but he dribbles them along or near the ground and on all occasions the keeper has almost saved them, He has just been lucky except against Burnley when he missed

If you want to watch full matches or extended highlights quickly then you either need a Saints Player account or bookmark this site [full matches available]: http://www.footballorgin.com/

Unfortunately, you have bad timing this time round, because the above site only held this weekend's Premier League matches for several hours. They've disappeared off the site as of today.
I tend to download every Saints match and either watch it and keep [if it's a memorable performance worth watching again] or delete afterwards. At least by downloading you get the option. Invariably the full 90 is in HD or very good SD.

Looks like Saints Alive is your friend.
The 2nd half is worth watching, imo.

And ironically was unlucky as he hit that one really well.

Have they reviewed the Saints game on MNF yet? I've only just switched on...

Neville just called us a 'big scalp'. That'll do me.

I've not seen the whole game yet, so can anyone tell me how Graziano played when he came on?

Just watched the first half (thanks SA!) and we really were awesome. I think I'll leave the second half for now. I can just pretend it continued that way for the whole game and somehow Chelsea sneaked a point!

You'll have to appreciate that it was the 83rd minute and Chelsea were beginning to camp in our half by the time he came on. Immediately, Mane got close and Pelle started flicking to ball onto him. Although, Ronald undoubtedly made the right decision to start with Long he may have brought on Graziano a tad earlier, imo, as Mane was put through on goal twice during our counter attacks once Pelle came on.

    Mane was bloody excellent throughout.

Not on long, but the first time it came to him, he tried a flick and the second time he tried a killer ball instead of a simple lay-off.

Pelle tried a couple flicks and things that were somewhat clever/tricky. They didn't quite come off, but IMO were worth trying.

And he attempted one crazy long ball when a simple pass to a very open Djuricic would have done, and that was rather silly. Although there wasn't necessarily anything on with Djuricic either, it mostly would have just helped us to kill some time.

Mostly there wasn't enough time, nor did Saints have enough of the ball on attack for Pelle (or Djuricic for that matter) to stand out as good or bad.

Just been on the OS, and there was a thank you from the club on the tremendous noise the Saints supporters made at Stamford Bridge. And that reminded me of the edited highlights on MOTD2. Much of that noise was missing because they didn't show a great deal of Saints chances or possession, even in the second half. If you watch the full match you'll hear some pretty good noise and humour from the Saints contingent.

For example, near the end of the match, Pelle followed Ivanovic over to the left touch line [relative to the camera, just watching it now], and Graziano gently bumped into him [and I mean really gentle, it was barely a touch] Ivanovic went over like he was shot. Mike Dean blew his whistle and Pelle turned round and laughed. Then put his finger in his mouth and popped it. I don't know what the significance of a finger pop is in football, but anyway the Saints supporters sang: Same old Chelsea, always cheating, to the Pompey Chimes tune.

Ivanovic does seem to be Chelsea's diver-in-chief. When Tadic accidentally put his foot on Ivanovic's heel, in the penalty area, it didn't even impede his foot or drag his boot back, such was the insignificance of the contact, but Ivanovic went down like a dying swan in ballet. He's even worse than ManC's Edin Dzeko, and he's super bad.

    Tomas Rosicky is another culprit.

Yeah I was wondering about the 'pop' thing as well. Maybe it's an Italian thing? I don't know...was sitting there thinking "pop goes the weasel"...

I thought he was putting a hook in his mouth rather than popping, as if to say to the ref "he's caught you hook, line and sinker".
