It is, but that's the way the story came out, it's subsequently changed once more detail was released via the FA statement. I'll amend it.
This gives him the excuse to go back on his 'one application' statement. He'll now say that the process was fundamentally flawed, so he'll spin it as a re-submitted initial application, now that the process has been clarified.
Aye thats how i read it. Not cos of his comments but for prejudging in council and possibly influencing others.
Only read the first page, but yes, the original decision/verdict has been set aside and the original action in applying for a name-change now continues to a renewed decision/verdict - I don't believe it will change the outcome one iota. Someone expressed an opinion when their position made that opinion inappropriate - a simple mistake, or was it a mistake? Any change of the original decision would now make the FA look very, very foolish - it won't happen. Just got to live with more of his nonsense now as he illicitly changes the name anyway. Good to see the FA did make a full public announcement and that they were not daft enough to wait until the end of the season - although I am sure there will be some posters who will blame our sorry plight and lack of finishing on the FA and this announcement.
The process wasn't fundamentally flawed. He won because Malcolm Clark didn't register an interest at the membership committee meeting. The rules set out by the FA were fair and come down to 5 tests. The club had to provide a business case and didn't. So next time it will need to do so. The club will need to ballot supporters and show a majority is in favour. Not a flawed ballot like the last time but a proper, fair one. The future of Hull City is in our hands. Buy a pass and vote no.
I maybe wrong but Im sure i just read in the report the ballot can be done anyway the owners see fit and they saw nowt wrong with the last one.. I'l try and find it
I've read it all. The original application is dead. He will need to make a new application and show he has meet all 5 of the tests set before the FA can agree the change. The most important is he has to show he has majority agreement to the name change amongst supporters. Its up to him, does it want this sorry saga to continue and does he want to rebuild some bridges.
You know what I mean. He'll say because it got thrown out due to whatever reason, he now has a chance to reapply without the FA "bias", or however he termed it.
They actually said 'unimpressive'. The whole report is really damning for the club, Ehab comef of of this looking a right obnoxious twat.
Assem Allam, you are a pathetic, petty, disgusting, egotistical, arrogant, odious **** of the highest order. Ehab's a prick anarl. OLM has already posted it, but it worth a repost. What are the ****ing chances you'll stick to that, eh? Never go back on your word do you?
Perhaps, now that we have to tolerate more of his dishonesty and devious, under-handed nonsense, it is his character that should be focussed on - we should all UNITE to prove him a politically motivated, money-grubbing arsehole. We should embrace his ambition to be a Lord. . of the Flies and paint the real picture far and wide. Where are all of the fence-sitters now, are they watching his corrupted announcement enter yet another phase of dishonesty and deceit?
Without wading through everything im sure the Allams didn't want this announcing until the seasons end to focus on survival. Why the change? or have I got mixed up somewhere ?
The Allam's did, but the FA obviously didn't, that's why the trust were pushing the FA for details, they never actually confirmed they'd agreed to any delay.
