....... I'm looking forward to Saturday with great anticipation. Since the supporters sang, "It's never your fault," it was obvious Poyet's time was up, of his own creation. The players trudged off looking like they were devoid of any inspiration, organisation or determination. Whoever's in charge it's, once again, our annual 'no more excuses' desperation situation. So, we'll be off to London to cheer on the shirt & club, as we always have, with a mixture of passion & intoxication. 3 points and we'll be ready for the invasion of the Geordie Nation. A battling defeat would be scant consolation, we need a win not more desolation. Haway Sunderland, we'll sing our bloody heads off down there ........ keep the faith!!!!!
Yep and they blow the ****ing thing as well. Ray Winstone, hard as nails (haha), can I borrow your bubble mix, I've ran out..
Love the optimism Smug. Wish I shared it. Delighted Poyet's been booted but there's a lot of hard work between here and safety. I don't think things will turn straight away. Fingers crossed I'm wrong.
It's pitiful isn't it .......... kids bubbles, dear me. What next, afucking bouncy castle for the players to warm up
What choice do we have mate ....... there are thousands going down and spending 'hard-earned' to support the club. We're staying in London, after the match, and hoping to meet up with other Sunderland for a celebration. That'll be another couple of hundred quid so I have to hope we can win don't I?
And yet Poyet saved you from relegation with a stunning series of results... Has there ever been a club in the history of football so reliant on the "new manager effect"? Funny old game! Wish we were getting a new manager too, mind.
It's a way of life down there though, the thing is it's the black lads that's given London the hard reputation..
Instead of the players taking the pitch, for the derby, we should just have our caretaker against their caretaker. Bally would batter the fat knacker all the way back to Byker where he belongs
Cheers Disco, this is when Sunderland people are at their best mate ..... we won't take any shyte from the Cockneys. We'll get off the tube, stick our chests out and sing 'til the end of the match. I'm hoping to meet up with Sid and a few of the London branch.
I hope we get a reaction and a few good results but at the same time, like when PDC left, it'll sicken me to see the bunch of lazy ****s suddenly decide to start working hard. Player power at its worst yet again.
I don't mind how much flak I take ....... PDC was right. All the stories about him being 'an out of control maniac' came from the same players who let us down on Saturday. He must have been appalled at what he saw at Sunderland, no wonder he went off the deep end at Fletcher, Wickham, etc. People keep saying they miss Bardsley .......... a man who shiit all over the shirt ffs
