That City website comment looks a bit like Allam dictated it himself. They've even left in the bad English.

I mean me personally, obviously. <doh>
I meant the club that I support.

What were Allam's words about leaving? Was it if the name change is rejected? If so there has now been no rejection as the decision was overturned thus he can stay... and probably try again.

I reckon he's going to point out that the reason Allam can reapply is down to the FSF talking to CTWD.

    Any other guesses?

until you delve into your deep pockets with your short arms, you are irrelevant.
He has invested his own money into the squad... You haven't.

To be honest I think Patty's reading skills appear worryingly better than someone who has aspirations to be a journalist. Very worryingly as Patty is not always exactly on the ball.

Hull City have been told they can reapply to change their playing name to Hull Tigers for next season.

The Football Association Council blocked a move by the Premier League club to change the name in April 2014.

However, after Hull claimed the process was flawed, an independent panel has "set aside" that decision and cleared the way for the club to try again.

The panel found that the original ruling had placed too much weight on objections from supporters.

Hull owner Assem Allam has said he would not continue to invest in the club if the name change was rejected.

The 75-year-old businessman, who took over Hull in 2010, believes a change to Hull Tigers would help the club "go global".

A tribunal statement said: "We have concluded that the decision of the council cannot stand. We set it aside.

"At this stage of the season, it would be impractical and wholly inappropriate to direct the association to make a fresh decision to take effect during the current season.

"The club is free to make a new application."

Hull City announced they could "confirm winning the arbitration case against the FA, having proved successfully that the process adopted by the FA was unfair and biased".

The club statement continued: "The arbitration panel ruled unanimously in the club's favour, setting the FA's decision aside, effectively leaving the club's original application unanswered.

"The ball is now in the FA's possession, with the club seeking clarification on how the FA will proceed in a fair and unbiased manner."

Didn't we know this already it was Allam himself who gave us his word that he would not make another application. He never goes back on his word <whistle>

Its obvious in Allams world that changing the clubs name and earning 1/2 million is more important than pulling together staying in the league and earning 100 million
    Nice

He'd be right. That was the only reason it was overturned. Looks like we are going to have months of uncertainty as we wait for him to decide whether to resubmit an application.

My advice to anyone who wants to remain Hull City is to renew or buy a season pass for next season. The panel found no problem with a key test being a ballot of season ticket holders. If you don't have a pass you don't have a vote if he decides to go through it all again.

I see he submitted the ballot results as part of the application.

Imo it's a win for allam, if the Amber tinted glasses are taken off its basically a no for this season but next season go for it, next season we will most likely be Hull Tigers.

What if we end up in the Championship? Where will that leave his application?
