People have been saying that we have been playing like a big defeat was coming but this performance has been coming based on the last few weeks. Weve picked up the pace and the players are now making more intelligent passes. The hard work and suffering paid off today in our best performance for almost two years.
Very good. I hope we keep that up next game. Might even go out to watch the Swans tomorrow, without wanting to jinx them!
SAF must have given the team talk. High tempo, pace, movement, width, running, Carrick dictating play, Rooney up front.... Great
This is where a few of the prats who have hardly posted on this board but suddenly decided to turn up last week, will once again disappear. KKK who I'd never seen before will be one of them I'm sure. Until at least 10pm tomorrow at least. That doesnt apply to the likes of Page, DR or Luv who tbf to them, hang around like a bad smell regardless
To soften the massive blow for the RS who currently in full meltdown, let's say this: 1. Spurs were never in a CL challenging position and they played at OT like the old spurs facing the old United. United were awful. Spurs just gave the match away. 2. The RS will easily beat Swansea 0-4 tomorrow as the swans freeze when they face a much superior force like the RS 3. The football gods cannot possibly repeat their cruel treatment of the RS in dangling the wanted prize in front of their noses before snatching it away at the very last minute. Or can they? 4. United will play a rubbish formation against them next week and the RS will easily get the three points... Now can the RS now wipe their crocodile tears ?
