And from our Morg. Morgan Schneiderlin@SchneiderlinMo4 · Great point today and great spirit ! Thanks to our fans for the support! 9 games left to achieve something special
Thank you for the reception #cfc fans. . And well done boys great effort! saints fans loud and drove us on untill the end! #saints#wemarchon Instagram from Bertrand to Chelsea fans thanking them for his reception. Seems popular there...because of CL I suppose.
I said to my brother before the game that Mane is the most fouled PL player - counted about 7 on him today
Mane was great. Such a handful. Very pleased with the performance today, feels bit like a victory taking a point from the bridge. Shame arse and manure won. Praying for a swans win tomorrow.
I was just poking a bit of fun FLT, wasn't referring to you personally or intending to lord it up over you and discredit your opinion, just celebrating the result and the fact that those two games happened to line up with my thoughts, which as far as I'm concerned is almost entirely coincidence. Guess I should stick to long-winded boring monologues about tactics and whatnot rather than trying to be cheeky haha!
We were good value for the point today. Especially in the first half. On another day with a bit more confidence we could have gone in 2 or 3-1 up. that lads put in a great shift and a point from Stamford Bridge is a very good point. Like the rest of us I thought Mane was outstanding especially in the first 20min. Thank the gods we signed that boy, dread to think where we would be without hm this season. Chelsea have some top, top players. they also have some hugely dislikeable t@3!5 in the side. Shame really.
Agreed, apart from the fact that Neville is always the 'ex-player' who basically promotes cheating as an acceptable part of the game. But who cares! Great performance from everyone. Can we be the only team that Chelsea don't beat this season (genuine question)?
This result, and in particular the performance, really sets us up for a late push for the top 4. In the first half we dicked Chelsea at their place (boy is it satisfying to say that) and should have gone in at HT in front. Second half they came at us strongly, but again, they couldn't break us down. Mightily impressive that in 90 minutes of Chelsea bombarding us (45 at St Mary's, 45 today) they couldn't score. Next round of fixtures sees us play Burnley while Liverpool play Man United. Win against Burnley and we could be knocking on the door of the top 4 again. I'm looking at the fixture list for all the teams hunting top 4 and we can ****ing do this.
Eek. Fonte has this habit of being a little too keen to try and let the ball run back to the keeper. Sometimes the ball's just not moving quick enough to do that.
