I don't think Pearson did anything wrong yesterday, he answered his question and he kept going with it knowing full well what Nigel is like and Nigel closed him down, he then asking an even stupider question and got what he deserved. How do you think the players feel watching Pearson's reaction Anyone who thought we was giving up knows Nigel won't stand for it and thats his job so to have a pop at him for it is a joke. At the min the media are out to get him as he is a easy target with us not winning and what has happened recently.
Pearson was good for us. He brought stability and a bunch of youngsters who helped us set the stage for Bruce to take us into the PL. Clearly we took some offense to him leaving like he did to a club lower than us in the table but we all realize he was going back to a team that he cared for more. None of us were really that upset about it all. We like to complain about it bc we are sports fans but if you really think any of us really give a **** you are mistaken. As long as he is your manager though its a perfectly fine excuse to continue to act like we care. After he leaves you we will simply have to find another reason to complain about you all and it probably wont be to difficult. All of us think he was terrible in interviews and press conferences, he always came across as a giant ass hat. Maybe he is not a PL quality manager but he is a pretty decent manager and a manager any club would be lucky to have if they are in the situation like we were when we came down to the Championship. You all should keep him if you go down. Thats my opinion anyway.
Anyone who watches that and thinks Pearsons behaviour is acceptable or even funny is a massive bellend. An absolute tool. Sneering, paranoid, nasty bully boy attitude after he was asked some pretty run of the mill questions. The man's an embarrassment and so is anyone defending his behaviour in that press conference. I think it's refreshing to hear someone in football actually speak their mind for a change. Stock answers from players and managers have made interviews unlistenable these days. I always listen to Pearson's interviews, because you never know what you're going to get. He gets asked stupid questions all the time by media hacks parading as "experts" sitting in judgement - he only says what all managers think, but don't have the balls to say. Ferguson used to act like a cock all the time, but as he was Man Utd manager, the media made nothing of it.

Try typing "alex ferguson swears at reporter" in google and enjoy. Regarding the "throttling thing" it was literally nothing. Hence he received no punishment.
If you were in any other profession, paid the salary he is, and you gave that performance you'd be out of the door. I'm certain he's had media training but yet again he chooses to ignore it. There's no point in defending the indefensible.
It's hardly the "indefensible" - he muttered an insult to a douchebag journalist under his breath, likely unaware it would even be picked up. He's not in public or media relations - he's a football manager. If it's more important to have someone who gives nice media soundbites, then it's a sorry state of affairs. The media dominates the game enough as it is without making managers glorified talking heads.
Are you sure? He may not be capable of being in that role but he's sure as hell in it, as is every manager of every club in the 'best league in the World', and that's just one reason that he's not up to the job.
It's not his primary role - although more and more that seems to be the way football is going. His primary role is to bring success to our football club on the pitch. Everything else is secondary.
I understand what you're saying however it's a role that they all have to play, and professionally. That presser performance yesterday was a zillion miles from being professional, no matter how entertaining it was. However I'm pretty sure that his presser performance was linked to the other thing that you mention, success on the pitch, or not, which was almost certainly the root of the problem. Just watched this clip for the first time. Now I'm on the "Pearson out" side of the fence and when I see him like this it only reenforces my view that the sooner he goes the better. I don't know the man, I've never met him, I've written to him twice - once critically and once complimentary and not had the courtesy of a reply either time, so just want to judge him as an employee of Leicester City. As the mainly public face of the club he really should be able to portray a better attitude than this. He always to seems to have a miserable face on him, he is very contemptuous of everyone and his answers to questions are dull and passionless. The journalist is only doing his job, admittedly not too well, but then again in my opinion Pearson doesn't do his job properly either. As an aside at the match on Saturday I thought both Dawsons & Bruces challenges were just good old fashioned hard tackles and that neither deserved a yellow card. As a supporter there are a number of questions that need answering regarding team selections, formations, tactics, motivation etc. I keep reading that we are getting stronger, I just don't see it that way, I think we are going backwards. We all see things differently but I'm afraid I'm not convinced that Pearson is a Premiership manager or is the right man for next season in the championship.
