to not pick up a home win amongst..... Swansea Everton West Ham Hull QPR West Brom Villa ......is very poor! Not only that but to not actually deserve to win any of these games is oviously a sackable offense! And when you look at how terrible we have been and how easy it was for the opposition to pick something up from these games, without having to play well, the manager and players need hung, drawn and quartered! You would expect at least 2 wins amongst that lot, which would have us sitting pretty ok!!! The irony is I was tickled pink at our league position at around xmas cos our run of home fixture before then was horrific! We werent playing well, but we were picking up points and ticking along nicely! But typical Sunderland, when the chips were down and wins were essential we, yet again, implode! Things will never change!
O'Shea has just signed a contract and brown is in talks over a years extension now. We won't be shot of them until their contracts run down.
