  1. I don't think anyone would pay that kind of money for him regardless of his contract situation. With him only having twelve months left, no chance.

This summer he'll have 2 years left and we'll easily get £35m

Only reason might be his wage demands and the fact he wants a 2 year deal rather than 1 year.

For me there's tgree red flags on toure

    1. His legs are gone really

    2. He takes a big wage

    3. Two years is just a **** off then moment. The policy should be clear... One year after age of 30... FFs chelsea can do that and not suffer

I'd keep Kolo forever personally, but that's why I don't run a football club.

If a team wants Sterling that'll be around what he goes for.

Would say it's Madrid, City, Chelsea, Munich as possibilities. He'd be a fool to leave.

Sterling would be making the greatest mistake of his life if he leaves Liverpool.

Players I would like to see leave (not all in one go but have no future at the club or are simply not good enough):

Brad Jones - we need to sign a starting keeper to challenge Migs. Jones is simply not good enough.

Enrique - offers very little and I question his attitude. Seems to have a good reputation amongst fans but I don't rate him. He can only do one thing well and that's shield the ball.

Lovren - we bought the player on the back of a good 6 months at Soton but he's always been an average player.

Skrtel - good in a back 3 but useless in a back 4. Not a leader, wrong side of 30 and too inconsistent.

Flanno - if he's happy being a 3rd choice full back, then keep him.

Lucas - average DM who has a place in the squad but injury prone, 30 and on decent wages (similar to Skrtel)

Lambert and Borini - offer nothing to this club.

If we end up getting top four or third we simply can't overlook these significant flaws in the squad, much as we did last season when we allowed the (sort of) artificiality of that season's success to blind us to the reality of the situation - which was, and still is, that we come up short in key areas across the pitch.

I thought you meant to write what you did originally tbh. You've still got a fair point if you'd left it alone. <laugh>

Agreed. Rodgers needs to invest in the midfield I.e A proper DM.

A quality DM will protect the defence but allow the other midfielders the freedom to attack.

But more importantly - rodgers needs to remove himself from the process and let the committee sign the places.

We gave Soton £50m - what have these three players done for this club?

Lallana is a good rotational player and offers something different tactically. He was over-priced though because his contract factored in a massive hair-products and barbering allowance. The other two are donkeys. Lambert's netted a couple of times which have been useful contributions but as a footballer he has extremely limited ability. I'm torn on Lovren, he's been utterly utterly ****e all season save for one and half games recently when he looked a bit better, but part of me says let's give him another six months - till the winter window when we should have solid buyers lined up to step in, in-case he's still not improved.

Who are the 2 world class full backs you're buying to put ahead of our best RB Flanno then?

As full back, Manquillo is miles ahead of him.
As wing back, Manquillo, Ibe and Markovic are better.

And if rumours are to believed, we're interested in Clyne.

Manquillo is alright but lacks composure on the ball. Has pace which gets him out of trouble at times, much like Moreno.

However he's an Atletico player and out of favour so probably won't be here long.

We we won't keep playing wing backs I don't imagine but even if we do, nice to have the options of Ibe as an attacking option (although he's alightly wasted there and should be further forward as he's better dribbling and striking a ball than Sterling) and a defensive one in Flanno who is the best defensive full back at te club and most composed on the ball
