I hope we stay up, relegation will be harder to recover from than the situation we are in now, getting back into the premiership is not a given, but either way we need a new manager before the start of next season, this one is not good enough, the bus is up the creek without a steering wheel.
Never thought I would say sack him but the bloke is clueless. I fear the championship beckons with him at the helm. Looks like Newcastle will end their winless run against us in a few weeks time. Get the bairns in now. If we're going down at least let the younguns have a few games. Impossible to be worse than them overpaid f*cking pricks. Just to summarise, get that tw*t out of my club.
He says in the Daily Mail article, "That (quitting) is not in question. It would be too easy to blame everyone else,". No one's blaming anybody else Gus. They're blaming you!! Why haven't you walked yet?
I must admit, I'd have thought he would have walked or been pushed by now! I know that we will be looking for options though. Maybe Short is lining somebody else up before he pulls the trigger!
I honestly expected to wake up this morning and hear he'd gone. Gus hasn't got a clue how to get out of this mess and the longer the board are seen not to be responding makes them look clueless as well. Yes, sometimes, in certain situations, the best course of action is to do nothing. This isn't one of them!
I would of sack him ages ago but at least more people have smelt the corn beef and now want him gone.
I think its right Gus should go for his tactics alone, but whoever comes in we must get rid of Brown, O'Shea etc and also all the other dead wood, we need younger players and lets look at out under 21's, Whatmore looks good and should be given a chance he is better than Bridcutt, Gomez etc.
One of the lads (green coat) who was ejected, shown on MOTD/the mail/the guardian and what not, is a pal of mine. His missus is a copper. Sure she'll be ower the moon with him!
I agree Billy. My point badly made, was that, **** the compo, that'll just be a few mill, the club should pay him off anyway, they could lose £100m if they don't.
I hope so. He's a decent lad and to be honest he wasn't that aggressive. Poyet was stood there on the sidelines all game with his arms crossed doing nowt, making stupid changes, looking like someone had pissed on his christmas dinner. Put yourself in that situation and you're going to get grief. Not my style but I don't think you can be too harsh on those who want to make their voice heard.
