Barton is available next game to get our dissembled assembly kicking as one fighting unit again. We have really missed the trying his best not to be a stupid cønt the last 3 games. Player of the season for me so far.
Agree. Phillips must have been our best player. Krancjar should have been playing instead of SWP in 4 2 3 1, we can't afford 2 wide men. OBZ would have been worth throwing on as a sub for Austin, or as a late desparate sub for Henry, Sandro or Yun.
We won't stay in the premier league unless we have a great deal of fortune. For the two Chelsea under 12s that have contributed earlier... We'll see you at Loftus Road for our swansong, make sure you turn up for the atmosphere because it will be like nothing you have ever or will ever get at PlasticBridge. Right Paul?
I'm going to assume you were a little drunk lad as what would you know about atmosphere? Earlier in the thread you readily admitted you never go so I hope you slept off your over indulgence. As for our game at your place I'll summarize. You lot will be excited as it is your biggest game of the season, perhaps even your last big game prior to going out of existence. You will sing about a blue flag like you do every game without fail even when we don't play. For 90 minutes you will drool at what might have been as you witness one of Europe's elite as we march on toward another title. You will additionally froth and foam with jealousy which is normal practice as your exceedingly bitter and then go home and cry on message boards such as you did yesterday and most other weeks. Following on, it is likely our final meeting EVER as in June/July you will file for bankruptcy after the couple of half decent players you have leave for a club far bigger and more worthy. We will laugh as your two bob outfit go under and you will cry. That will be that. THE END!
Let me deal with the unimportant first. Here's the interesting thing. It appears that not only do Chelsea fans notice our club, they actually wish us ill. To me that speaks of some sort of rivalry. Clearly there is no competition financially - the consortium of QPR owners are far wealthier than Abramovitch (Mittal alone £10.25b and Abramovitch £8.5b) so the competition must be to do with fans since at present Chelsea are clearly more successful than QPR. I can understand it must be galling for them to observe fans who stick to their team through thick and thin and have done so for decades without needing to resort to buying new fans with prawn sandwiches and champagne. As to the atmosphere when Chelsea come to LR? Well, you have been warned and, win or lose, your new players will experience something they never have before due to the proximity of the fans to the pitch. As to yesterday, that was a sub standard and unacceptable performance. It probably means relegation is certain baring some freakish results. Players come back from suspension and injury may make some difference. The more I read about FFP in the context of British and European law, the less worried I am about it. Even if a fine is imposed, it will be years wrangling in courts (not without substantial cost of course) during which a new manager will be building afresh. Can't pretend to be anything but disappointed after yesterday but, assuming Tony has properly learnt his lesson this time, we will be back in due course better equipped to give the PL a fair go.
Although our owners personally may have a greater fortune than the owner of Chelsea, this has no bearing on how much is actually spent on QPR. Therefore, QPR is not rich. It has rich people who own it. Chelsea, by contrast, has spent a lot more than many clubs in the country... if not most. QPR, over time, has spent significantly little on players, coaches, facilities, etc. even in any particular season, we haven't been anywhere near the biggest spenders in the country. We betted slated as money bags QPR in the press when big teams spending millions more are somehow praised?
Well I have sobered up now and it has taken me all day, I really must cut down on the drink as my posts come across all slurred to our west? London neighbours. It also appears that big Jesse Mourinho's comments about Stamford Morgue must have really hit home eh? how embarrassing must it be when your own overly worshipped manager says the atmosphere stinks at your home games. Nevermind 'lad' you can have a good old sing song about a piece of salad and what orifice to put it in next when you are at LR or you might belt out a few renditions of 'cutting the grass' yes we will sing 'blue flag' and you will hear it how it should be heard - loud!. Hope you get to the game BILOCK I doubt if I can make it this time and I'm not sure where I said I never went to Loftus Road but obviously being based in Madrid does limit visits. Enjoy sunshine.
European Cup/Champions league wins per club 1. Real Madrid 10 2. A.C.Milan 7 3. Bayern Munich 5 3. Liverpool 5 5. Barcelona 4 5. Ajax 4 7. Inter Milan 3 7. Manchester United 3 9. Benfica 2 9. Juventus 2 9. Nottingham Forest 2 9. Porto 2 13. Celtic 1 13. Hamburg 1 13. Steuau Bucharest 1 13. Marseille 1 13. Borussia Dortmund 1 13. Feyenoord 1 13. Aston Villa 1 13. PSV Eindhoven 1 13. Red Star Belgrade 1 13. Chelsea 1 That makes Chelsea part of Europe's elite according to our esteemed friend. I doubt Real Madrid, AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Liverpool etc etc would consider Chelsea as being part of Europe's elite. Neither would Nottingham Forest who have won twice as many European Cups as Chelsea. They have won the equivalent of other European giants like PSV, Stauea Bucharest, Marseille etc.
