    So their defender comes off injured when they are down to 10 men and they bring on a striker? So now they have 3 strikers on the pitch when they are winning 2-1 and down to 10 men? This is some Sunderland style managing.

    Must say, the pitch looks awful. But I suppose as they share with the Seahawks it is to be expected.

    Sure, I dont know the % off hand but its probably more than half. All the new stadiums have real grass (such as SJ whose new stadium opens next week). A lot of the stadiums people are playing in were built for the NFL and a lot of NFL teams play on artificial turf which is why you see it. The MLS is pushing for all soccer specific stadiums now and all of those to my knowledge will be grass. It will probably be a decade before all the old stadiums go away and are replaced.

    FC Dallas wins 3-1 versus Sporting Kansas City, with the old man Blas Perez netting his 2nd and 3rd goals of the year. Could be alone atop the Western Conference already depending on what LA Galaxy does this afternoon.
