I suggest Ellis Short puts all the players on £1,000 per week, with £30,000 win bonuses and £15,000 draw bonuses. We'd see then how much they really give a toss about what the fans think. This blaming the fans for everything has gone on for far too long, so let's call their bluff and see how much they really give a damn for what we think. If Ellis did that, I think we'd very quickly find them playing for the win, and to hell with what we think.
Understand what your saying about playing to there strengths mate.... i had nee clue where Fletcher was supposed to be , and i dont think he did. Im questioning there professionalism. IMHO they are a bunch of piss head spice boys who dont give a two buck **** about the club or the fans. Just as long as they get loads of followers on instagram, fancy cars and 00's on the paycheck. There might have only been 2 players on the field at west brom who played today. Its the culture that they allegedly bring with them. The i dont give a **** pay me pay me pay me attitude. That made o'neil pdc and now gus look daft. Bardsley was always class in the last year of his contract. Whickham has turned into a fanny flap now he has his new contract, the size of the bloke he should be smashing defenders all over the shop. Fletcher was class for what 3 weeks when he signed now all he does is pissy little flick ons and hold his ankle in agony for 90% of every game. IDK what the **** ever , maybe i just hate them cos im skint and they absolutely ruin my ****ing week , week in week out. Then pop out for a Ferrari and give a **** interview about improving and working hard.
I'm not suprised the atmos is ****! The crowd have had to, for the most part, put up with performances of this ilk for at least 3 seasons now! However I would have stopped going by now rather than go to sit in silence or vent my spleen!
RAw i had a theory about this a while back and i actually spent hours drawing up a spread sheet. **** knows what i did with it now like , but the basic premise of my idea was how much the average fan of each team spent per goal and per point over the last 10 years, ( only while in the prem). Anywho we were $90 (iirc) a point which was the worst of all the teams. The mags were one of the best at like $22. I think Man utd were best at like $18. Not sure if my figures are right like , but i know we were by far the most expensive per goal and per point. Hoy that together with the fact theat the NE is one of the poorest regions and i can see why fans get proper ****ed off and have a booo. Im a huge beliver in the 12th man (13th man over here) seattle sehawks are for sure a prime example of it working. NOt the worst team in the laegue but by no means the best. The palace crowd im sure have been worth at least a couple points. I think its also one of the reasons we play better when catts is in the team, the fans see his passion and respond, players feel that and respond again.
I agree there's clearly problems with the players, but how do we snuff out the bad eggs when they all look diabolical in most part down to the tactics and game plan?
It's impossible to mate! also when they get a new manager they buck up ideas and all is forgiven. until we go down and get rid of o'shea, brown then nowt will change. Throw in the young lads in every other position but two young lads at cb would get destroyed. So that would be my starting point, which in fairness i think we tried but serious players look like they dont want to come. for what ever reason , Its a career killer or the bridges is ****. More drastically sack the lot ! except maybe keep both keepers , ****ing amazing tbf with the bollox infront of them larson - at least he looks like he is trying catts - even tho he is a piss head allegedly and loves to smash cars up (was him and bendter ?) pva - back up maybe as a LW defoe - owld but goodish i think maybe who the **** knows he hasnt had any service rev - hasnt been that bad in hindsight vergini - 5% confidence left in him and that is 4% more then the rest. still think he will turn into a footballer. Greek lad - thought he looked decent same as DMK but **** do i know BA - still ours ? + 5-6 youth team lads Ellis to get the check book out and buy the rest. No holiday lads , no ****ing about, get to GELLING. **** this you cant buy a team. If we go down we go down
COSTEL PANTILIMON VITO MANNONE Happy to keep both but think Vito will be off DEFENDERS 2BILLY JONES- Get shot, ****e. 3PATRICK VAN AANHOLT- Rate him but would develop him as a winger 5WES BROWN- Bye 15ANTHONY REVEILLERE- Good play despite his mistakes but far too slow to play full back in this league, bye 16JOHN O'SHEA- Should be good bye, stuck with him for two years 27SANTIAGO VERGINI- Still think he's a very good football Think we can get better though, bye 22SEBASTIAN COATES- bye 29VALENTIN ROBERGE*- bye MIDFIELDERS JACK RODWELL Going to be a great signing when the new gaffer gives him a run in his natural position 14JORDI GOMEZ- Try and sell 30WILL BUCKLEY- Try and sell 7SEBASTIAN LARSSON- He's a CM without any real on pitch identity. Still one of our better CMs and is passionate so keep 11ADAM JOHNSON- We'll see 23EMANUELE GIACCHERINI- Keep but please get him fit 4LIAM BRIDCUTT- Try and sell 6LEE CATTERMOLE- Keep unless he's at the centre of our drinking culture. Big offer and I'd be tempted to sell with Rodders at the club. 18CHARIS MAVRIAS- Will be off regardless 20RICARDO ALVAREZ- I'd buy him. I'd play him in middle. EL HADJI BA*- God knows STRIKERS 9STEVEN FLETCHER- Bye 10CONNOR WICKHAM- Bye 19DANNY GRAHAM- Bye 28JERMAIN DEFOE- Keep
On the same page for the most part mate. Convinced Whickham only got a new contract so we wouldn't lose him like the ginge. Only problem is i dont see anyone buying the ****. I completely forgot about Giaccherini what a ****ing disaster he has been so far. Sure he is a good footballer , bet all his injuries are drink related hahaha.
Only pdc had big balls and wish he was still here. Hopefully get Fat Sam and he will sort it. Plus he wouldnt let his teams get bullied.
