CR strikes me as a manager who has a team to tinker with with nothing to lose. If it goes wrong he can say he's not a manager and was just doing his best. If it goes well he can claim hero status. In doing so he's trying too hard to do the opposite to HR. Wow look at the youth players I'm using. Look how I've got Adel back, look at SWP, I can get him playing again. I don't need our Chileans or our West Ham loanee. I can try different formations etc etc. Strikes me he's always looking to pull a rabbit from a hat rather than focus on the simple basics. Losing faith very rapidly and sadly feel proven right with my lack of enthusiasm at Sunderland!
Spot on 74. I'm afraid Ramsey is looking a long way out of his depth. I really feel for young Furlong. Undoubtedly a potentially good player, but his treatment by Ramsey is likely to completely ruin his self confidence.
If I was TF I would reverse my decision and bring a new manager in until the end of the season, someone with experience - too much at stake to worry about his pride
How can people start to turn on Ramsey? We are where we are because of one man - Henry James Redknapp.
Redknapp and Fernandes are far more culpable than Ramsey, but he is looking terribly out of his depth! Awful selections today.
I think he would actually, or at lest he would make us much harder to beat. As would Pulis, Pardew and twatty bolocks Sherwood.
No way Col, we just aren't good enough, especially in the full back positions. Any team with pace will fill their boots against us...
I agree soups, but we are way too open. If we played a tighter formation and tried to keep the ball, we may at least do better.
It's not about turning on Ramsey, I will give my support to the bitter end but I think he is showing some incredible naivety and risk taking. For instance his use of Furlong against Sanchez who Isla has played with and would have superb knowledge and experience against. It just smacked of him wanting to show use of youth without proper thought. It could have come off but didn't and was not a logical gamble in our position.
All the other teams find it so easy to pick us off. How many games this season where there's one goal in it or another team beats us in the last minute or two. Time and time again teams do just what they need to beat us. That is the difference between staying up and going down and we just don't have someone to make us solid at the back. Ramsey sent a team out today that never looked like they were going to win, he needs to be picking experienced players. Palace beat us so easily.
Here's how I see it Redknapp......lost interest before Christmas ... if he truly ever had much Fernandez.....Best thing to happen to the Hoops for a long while Charlie Austin .. Saved us from being relegated before Christmas Hoops squad.....with few exceptions, not good enough for the Premiership Chris Ramsey ... Lovely bloke.. Not a premiership manager. Hoops fans.......Best in the world ... and I've been one for 50 years and always will be.
Beginning to think winning at Sunderland was the worst thing that could have happened given it meant Ramsey getting the job. He's a lovely fella, says all the right things but every week his selections smack of desperation. I still can't believe Vargas can't get a game in front of Swp and Adel. But to be honest it's such a poor squad we've got no chance whoever was in charge. And that's Harry's fault as he assembled it. Even so, Chris, just stick to what you think is your best team and stop chopping and changing!!
I will go with that. It was naive to think that a bloke who has been off the radar for most of his footballing life would end up rescuing a struggling premiership team. I did not see the Arsenal game but thought we did well against spurs and honestly thought that he would have stuck with the same team to start with today. I am not convinced that he is his own man. He is likeable and all that and has all the coaching badges and all that and I will be cheering whatever team he puts out at LR next week; but he is not the man
Hoops fans are at a all time low imo Lost in fact but it's understandable look what we have been served Many of us called for change and get Harild out we got that now stick with the new regime It's a simple case of accepting new styles and CR is looking fine and imo is brave to try and change it We are not out of this yet and time for Rangers fans to support the team rather than turn on the team It's time to restore our fan base Win or lose we do not have a manager only interested in talking about himself Give the man every chance and don't let Harold win
He's not ****ing changing it though is he? It's exactly the same hoof ball that we've had all ****ing season. Swp picked ahead of vargas for ****'s sake!
