Not at all, I'm as cool as a cucumber. It doesn't take a meltdown to point out what an idiot you are.

You're so desperate to try and get one over on me because I have ripped you to shreds so many times, that you have resorted to lying.
It's desperately pathetic even for you HIAG.

Have you finally gotten over bottling the micky mouse cup, or as you called it "one of Europe's most prestigious competitions".

He'll be blubbing about his prediction that Arsenal will finish as the 4th placed London club soon (behind Spurs and West Ham), now that we're 2 points behind City in 2nd.

How's that Power shift going HIAG ?

  4. Ah, it's a shame you had to bring it back to this, after the olive branch I extended to you in another thread.

I'm quite content to show you up as the idiot you are on your own doomed wum threads.

It's just you ruining every other thread with your obsession with me that is a little tiresome.

I love that picture though HIAG, because unwittingly you are both the fisherman and the fish <ok>

  6. Ah, it's a real shame that you can't resist having one more pop. I think I'm going to have to be the bigger man, here, for the sake of the board.

Keep having your pops, mate, but my hand is there if ever you have the courage to take it. No hard feelings, pal.

I agree, no hard feelings at all. I think you're taking it a little too personally HIAG.
I'm simply ripping your failed wums to shreds, but it's all done with cheerful glee :)

  8. Same with me, mate. I never meant you any hurt, even when I was "owning" you. And the stupid thing is, none of that means anything to me, anyway!

I love the banter, but there's no need for either of us to push it too far.

    Again, no hard feelings, mate.

You've never owned me HIAG, the sooner you put that little delusion to bed the better it will be.

But I agree, no hard feelings <ok>

  10. Whether I "owned" you or not, PESKIE, that is besides the point. As I have already stated in an earlier post, it's perfectly clear that you are never going to admit to anything that tends to make you look small (in your own mind).

I really don't care about any of that. I cannot deny to having had a great deal of fun in winding you up, but I think we've reached the point where neither of us are going to do ourselves any credit by simply churning out the same old routines. Let's move on. I'll drop the meaningless banter and try to be more serious - show you the "true" me, and let's all move on.

It's besides the point because it's never happened. I'm sorry if that doesn't sit well with you, but that's the truth.

Our interaction on here has been you trying to wum and me ripping it to shreds. But I'm more than happy to talk about football and have some banter without you going into desperation mode. Let's move on and just enjoy the forum <ok>

  12. There's no doubting that I have wound you up, and really got under your skin. Sometimes, I even felt bad just how much I was getting to you - as I have said, I never meant to be hurtful.

But, look, that's all in the past. I want to move on. Yes, I had great fun posting all that stuff that I did - I am not going to deny that to you or to anyone else; but it's time to move on.

HIAG, let it go mate. Taking the piss out of you is completely different from being wound up by you.

Like you say, it's time to move on <ok>

In this new era of friendship, tell me about your gigging HIAG. Are you a Musician ?

    #734
  15. Yes, I have been a musician for many years. There was a time in my life when I could have followed that path, but I let the opportunity go.

Well we might have more in common than you might think, what do you play ?

    #736
  17. In the band, I play electric guitar, mainly lead (in a rock band). I can play other instruments, but the electric guitar has been my first love since I was about 12.

What do you use? I used to be a pro. A lot of years ago, mind you.

  20. Wow! The HIAG/PISKIE truce has brought the musicians out of the closet!

I have a fair few axes. I've even made a couple. I gig with a PRS Custom 22, sometimes an Ibanez J Custom, but I'm lately playing a custom Tele that was built by a very gifted luthier from some very exotic woods. I won't tell you how much it cost, because that would be lacking class, but suffice to say it is a fantastic guitar. I gigged with it last night. I use an Orange valve amp going into a Marshall cab, and a multitude of stomp boxes. I prefer the analog stuff.
