...... and if Poyet gets off the coach I'll be amazed.

The Sunderland support is too good for these players, and too patient, but when they turn on them they'll know about it.

I'll support my club next week but the players need to support the supporters and show they have the fight.

I feel truly sorry for all the decent people who've turned up today.

Not sure why people laugh at Sam. He is a very progressive manager and his teams play much better than the sum of their parts. Not only that he wouldn't tolerate the lack of commitment we have become used to.

At Sunderland the lunatics have been running the asylum for years ........ the players run the shop, pick the team & take the money.

I find the whole thing truly appalling. How players can justify fortunes on a weekly basis and then not give a **** about their effort, application, and pride is beyond me. It is disgusting that honest supporters turn up, pay out hard earned cash to support this shower and then are let down. The players should refund their salaries, and everyone who turned up today should get not just a refund but compensation for being conned to see a "match" when it was a f****** capitulation. And I wasn't even there :emoticon-0121-angry

All of a sudden it looks like a great decision to go down for the weekend <ok>

I was dreading it but the support will now have a massive lift ......... all we need is a response from the players.

I'm going down as well mate. I'm sure the fans will give the new manager a warm welcome and get behind the lads, as we always do, through thick and thin.

That's probably the main reason why away days are so much better than watching us at home, at the SoL the support is often dependent on the performance of the players, away from home you can always guarantee the support at least will be world class.

The home supporters have had a terrible time of it, no real excitement.

At least we've had Palace, Fulham & Newcastle.

I've had Burnley, Leicester and Hull. As well as WBA at home.

I'm owed a performance and some bloody goals!
