The only way we can turn this around I'm afraid is to change the manager.

I have to say though, it's the gutless players to blame, not him IMO. Players earning millions from us, showing no guts.
 
It galls me that you will no doubt beat us again in the derby (which will be enough to keep you up)
 
I don't often post on match days but this is different, the end of Poyet.

The North East has become an area that hasn't seen success for decades and we now have 2 clubs which have settled for apathy.

No wonder the derby games are so intense .......... in reality it's all there is.

I've said it before, sacking PDC was a huge mistake.

I know it looks bad today but the bottom three below you are so ****e that you only need a handful more points to stay up. You're virtually guaranteed three of them against us, so it might not be as bad as it seems.

No gloating from me over this - we've had more than our fair share of days like this recently - and could have a few more before the season's over!
 
I've not seen any of this game, but surely you can't just blame Gus Poyet for that? 0-4 I'd be ripping them players to shreds.

Transfer windows being the way they are, there's only one thing you can do after this, a manager change is a last roll of the dice to avoid being sucked into that bottom 3.

To put this in perspective they have scored the same number of first half goals as the number of games we've won all season, this isn't a knee jerk reaction, Poyet's had this team under performing for months now he has to go!

That's the problem mate, he doesn't have any control over the players.

The Sunderland supporters, at home, have had absolutely nothing for their money this season.

I can totally understand their frustration & actions ......... we've had our fill of patience.

I am not consoling anyone mate. I am saying those fans are pricks for throwing stuff. I get you are pissed off (rightly so) but there is no need for being like that!

Yeah, but my point is that he's not playing on the pitch. The players have conceded 4 goals for whatever reason. I'd be ripping into them first and foremost.

Di Canio was honest about the players, they didn't like it and hounded him out. Unorthodox, for sure, but honest as the day.

He's got to go, but so do half your players I reckon, they're just not passionate enough.
