No offence but Mcshane is frankly a ridiculous call. A man who has played dozens of Premier League games, represented his country and has been sold for in excess of £5million pounds would win Player of the Year every single time if we were back in the bottom division. Defenders who looked good at that level and most fans liked, such as Jon Anderson and Roland Edge, arent fit to lace Mcshane's boots.

Seems a bit harsh. Was a steady reliable left back and spent most of his time with us in the second division i think. Ken De Mange was player with talent but a total waste of space, couldnt be arsed heavy drinking womaniser. I really liked him off the pitch, always in LA's. I was doing one sister he was doing the other for a while. Memories....
Really? How very interesting - cheers for that insight. I was only a young whippersnapper at the time and everyone talked about how Ken was the fittest player at the club. I always thought he couldve been good (he was at Liverpool when they were top dogs afterall) and could never understand why he didnt 'make it'. Ah my innocent niavity...
I think you'll find the worst player ever to pull on the shirt is me. Ok, never officially represented the tigers but have played many "international games" abroad wearing the black and amber......
Roger de Vries was a striker we bought from some Dutch lower league club in the early 80's. He was sh*te.
How has it taken this long for anyone to mention Junior Lewis......utter utter ****e, make Harper look like Xavi
What amazes me is Bamber's goalscoring record for Blackpool after City, clearly he wasn't as bad a striker as was thought. He was bad for us, he was lazy. Saville's record was poor but I have an affection for him cos he was up front when I first started following City. It's easy to say names like Sonko & Manucho, they were shyte in the PL, but would have probably done ok in the 4th division. Here's a blog article on this subject.. http://www.sabotagetimes.com/football-sport/even-a-fan-couldnt-love-him-hull-citys-dave-bamber/ Bamber wins it. Vaz Te, Harris, Lewis, Appleby get a shout..
