Rhondda, no worries about disagreeing, that's what forums are for, expressing you're own thoughts. I agree Malky did well for the Hornets but I can't get rid of this niggling feeling. I hope he turns into be a world beater with us. Good signings to date but having not seen some of the players first hand I rely on Malky and his staff and will give him my 100% support.
Cheers mate, I think we all have some doubts, we wouldn't be Cardiff City if things were that simple. I was a big DJ fan but I'm more excited this season than for quite a few years.
I know everyone's dubious about Mason's goal record. But. He's young. He played for a team that got relegated. He played for a team that only scored 51 goals all in. He is an Irish U21 - which must show a degree of quality?
DD, most people in Ireland can claim that up till their 21st birthday (just kidding) I remember a young unknown player breaking into the 1st team back in '98 and thinking "he's too small, he'll never make it". Well he went on to play in the Prem and captain his country (shows what I know)....oh, and he's just rejoined us. I'm not making comparisons but Mason could turn out to be a gem.

I had us down as a slow start, picking up from November as the team bedded in. I wasn't anticipating signing 1/2 a team in a week. They'll have most of a pre-season together so my expectations are rising. Even if we don't sign anyone else untill the season has started, we're well on our way. I might have to withdraw my post of yesterday berating the board.
