Looking at many of the games they have played so far don't be surprised to see them have a lot more of the ball and do most of the attacking, I think we will be forced back there home crowd will be up for it and we will have to defend well, hopefully we will withstand the pressure and make the most of any chances which come our way. Looking at a few of the away games I have been to , Burnley, WBA, Villa and Stoke we have been very disappointing but this time we need to give has good has we get. If you are going get behind the lads and drive them on to that vital victory. Come on City
I'm glad Robbo had such a good game against Sunderland, it'll make Brucey more inclined to leave him in. Leicester's main weakness is a lack of pace in their backline and with the pace of Elmo, N'Doye and Robbo we should be fine getting at them. I'd go with Quinn ahead of Meyler in this game; we have Livermore for the work rate, we don't need two players who's job it is to run around a lot (which incidentally I'd do for free...). Guile over guts for this one, especially with Cambiasso in their midfield. I still don't think we will win, but I think a draw would be good going.
Saville Street Bar in town, where Larry's Fish and Chips used to be; they seem to show every game (or advertise that they do).
Now you mention it I do seem to recall it being advertised there, can't say I've ever been there like, cheers!
The chippy that used to be there was incredible, good ol' Larry's! But I hear the bar now isn't too bad at all!
Lyrics shows it, Minerva shows it and Pearsons on Prinny Ave I think. I'll be in one of them, or that bar in Savile street mentioned above. I'll take a walk in the afternoon, scout it out.
My predicting abilities are worse than Lawro's. Every time I predict a scoreline in our favour, we lose. So, I go for 10-0 to Leicester!
I used to run a pub near the stadium, it's called the Western and it's just off Bede Park, a few minutes walk from the stadium. It's pretty decent for away fans and the home fans in there are really welcoming. Avoid the Robert Peel if you can, but the Swan and Rushes near the university is pretty good, it's run by a mate of mine (a West Ham fan with a melon shaped head).
Merson predicted 2-0 Leicester and said they've been unlucky all season... I think we can do it, just need to frighten them from the off, hopefully Robbo starts
Depends how/when you're getting there. For those who are setting off very shortly like myself, and aim to be in Leicester City Centre before the match - the Last Plantagenet Wetherspoons virtually next to the train station is a good place to go! Only a half hour walk (if that) from there to the ground.
He predicted 2-0 to them without a single mention of us. As we know, being unlucky doesn't get you points. The pressure will be on them at home and we have to use that to our advantage.
I am hoping that this is the game where everything 'clicks'. We have been unlucky this season, especially with injuries but this could be the game where cohesion between the players comes into good effect. Elmo runs riot when he has got the measure of his man (a little hard in this league) and with Leicester not having anyone near his class I would expect him to excel in this game. We have two strikers who know where the back of the net is and this could be the game where they will get the supply they need. I say COULD be the game but we are overdue for a good result and I would not be surprised if we came off at the end with the scoreboard showing Leicester 0 v Hull City 4.
First trip to Leicester today (football wise), looking forward to ticking another ground off the list! Hopefully the trip is a worthwhile one
