Random question, I'm upgrading my phone.... should I go for an Xperia or an HTC? I've had an Xperia since 2011 (in various forms), but I'm tempted to try an HTC. I have no desire for a Samsung or Iphone.
Familiarity I guess. I like that it's fairly sleek and stylish (hence no Samsung), I like that it's android (but then so the HTC), I like that it does all the things I need it to do and has apps and stuff, but then so do most smart phones.... Generally I'm just looking for a phone which I can use for the internet, Facebook, Twitter, Google Maps, wikipedia.... just general stuff like that. My biggest issue with my Xperia is the lack of space which means I can't install many apps, I don't know if it's just Football Manager using up all my internal storage space....
Funnily enough, after nearly two years of heavy use, my Galaxy II is finally reaching its limit on internal storage of apps. Mind you, one has has to bear in mind that I'm both an experimenter and I keep a good household on the phone. I'm just thinking round the best way for me to dispose of useless parts of the OS in order to free up the memory properly.
Actually, screw that I have to pay £25 to upgrade before April. Nevermind. Shame, I kinda wanted a new phone But not that much.
How much are you looking to spend a month? You can get: HTC M9 for about £45 a month out on March 31st. HTC M8 for about £35 a month, my fave phone ever atm. HTC Desire 620 for £23 a month. But it is no way as good as the HTC One's. Stay away from the HTC One Mini's. Xperia Z3 is around £38. It's a good phone but you can't compare it to the M8 or M9. Z4 comes out in September and it is getting good reviews. M2 is meh. If you are looking to upgrade in April the M9 and Samsung S6 will be out by then. Samsung are copying HTC with the metal covering. But are axeing the SD memory cards and going the way of Apple with in built memory So their phones will be all in one(no access to the battery etc).
I can get a Desire 620 for £18 a month with O2.... I don't want to spend anything more than around that. My last three monthly contracts have been successively lower, from £25ish, to £21ish and now to £18. So ideally I'd like to continue that trend.
Nokia Lumia 635 is about £14 a month. Great little phone. If it was me either the Nokia or Desire are the best at that price.
Should I responsed how you do by saying "whatever" when some one goes against your opinion. Is it big enough to sign a petition and get annoyed over? Nope. But I will talk about it as I did enjoy Top Gear.
Not defensive at all, why would I feel like I had to defend myself to a random over the net? I was just pointing out how you like to call people out for not giving a reason to their posts(I Sorry I Ruined Your Party in the Osvaldo thread) . Yet responed to people who challenge your view with a whatever.
