No way it wil be 30. I think 35 will do it, but it could be as low as 33.

 

The calculations on current rate fails to take into account that every single season some teams at the bottom have an upturn in form in the final 5 or 6 games of the season. Every single bloody time.

 

When was the last time the three promoted sides occupied the bottom 3 positions at this time of year?

 

No chance I think all the bottom clubs will get 29/30 points at least

I have no idea, but I think it's a very rare occurrence. The point being it makes a low survival figure more likely.

I reckon that stat is wrong. I think that was the last season all 3 promoted sides were relegated, not the stat we were discussing.

 

I think I can find you that stat.

 

You'd need a site that recorded the league tables after each week of the season for any given season. The OWS used to something like that but was limited to half a dozen seasons or so and was only related to the league City were in.

 

33-34 points I reckon, it won't be the 36+ that's usually expected

 

There are a few sites that you can look at the table at different stages of the season, but I can't be rectumed to do it.
