When Diame is back there will be no need for Meyler or Aluko anyway. In Dame and Jelly we have two strikers who can create something out of nothing so that might negate the predictability of our play (Elmo/Robertson as the suppliers). Ince would have been another option but I hate to see us when we are playing slow and static with no threat from the centre
Quinn in for Meyler would be my choice, but Brucey will probably leave him in, and he'll probably score the winner. 1-2 for me with Jela and N'Doye getting one apiece.
The Mo Diame injury is beginning to be a concern, don't want him rushed back that's a fact, its just that at every press conference of late, SB say's he's a couple of weeks off,re-joining the squad, at todays conference he's says he's hopeful that he may start full training next week, hopefully this is not going to turn into another Bullard saga. i for one hope not as we need him in that midfield to add that bit of bite.
Looking forward to this one. The satisfaction if we win will be immense. The despondency if we lose will be lasting. It'll be nervy and scrappy. 2-1 to us.
We'll be lucky to lose by 3 goals. I posted on the Pearson thread that they have the best two attacking players in the PL in Mahrez and Kramaric. They've got the best keeper in the league and one of the best centre halves in Morgan. What I forgot to mention was the fact that in Cambiasso they also have, by far and away, the best centre mid to probably ever play in the PL. They've battered every team they play, what makes you think we'll be any different? Our goal difference is going to take a proper mullering.
Agreed. Though the only reason Leicester are in the position they're in and not just n the top half as they should be is bad luck. Will that bad luck hold? What is the reason for it? We can only speculate of course, but I believe they're the victims of a gypsy curse which was put on them when LCC sent notice to evict them from the good Friday camp near Bagworth.
Just to rub salt into the wound I reckon Nigel will pin down Jelavic by his throat when he accidentally knocks into him when collecting the ball. Brucey will try and intervene only for Shakey to leg him up and tip an ice bucket over his head. I can see it happening.
I think most certainly will be this line up bar injuries, I agree as long as we can get the first goal we will go on to take the points.
Leicester are ****. They're going down, which for a team reputably worth tens of millions that was heavily tipped (albeit by their own fans) to finish top 8 (although they'd have been happy with top 10) is a disgrace. We'll probably lose, it's what we do, but it should put a few extra million on the imaginary worth of their players. I'd be happy not losing. Mac Elmo Daws Mac2 Bruce Robbo Livermore Hudd Meyler Jellybitch & The Dame Prediction 1-1.
Before TigerCalv comes wading in, perhaps I should say that for a player built up by Bruce as being crucial to us at the start of the season, Aluko has fallen a long way short of where he should be. Attacking flair is only any good if you exhibit it and he simply doesn't do enough. Add that to his uncanny ability to get caught in possession , to be predictable and to provide next to nothing when we don't have the ball and you have a player that will surely be on his way back to the Championship this Summer. Next season, if we stay up, we need much, much better.
Which of the Lester squad would get near our starting squad? Assuming our favoured 352 formation with a fully fit squad: McGregor Chester, Dawson, Bruce Elmohamady, Livermore, Huddlestone, Diame, Brady N'Doye, Jelavic Subs: Harper, Rosenior, Robertson Meyler, Quinn, Ramirez, McShane Schmeichel Simpson Huth Morgan Konchesky Mahrez James Cambiasso Schlupp Ulloa Kramaric Subs- Schwarzer, Wasilewski, Knockaert, Drinkwater, King, Vardy, Nugent I think I might have Schlupp, Knockaert, Mahrez and Cambiasso competing for our bench positions but certainly nowhere near our first choice starting eleven, as for the rest, well they're not adrift at the bottom for no reason!
I have it on good authority (AKCJ) that Leicester are one of the best (if not The Best) teams in the division. It is only the malignant spirit of King Richard (of Yorkshire) who is making them lose. However, he will still be there on Saturday, so they can expect to lose again. 0:3 and they're going down for me. They should have sent his remains back to Yorkshire. Sod them.
