Hard to find any excitement in this due to way youth has been held back in recent years

Never sure how to read these - I saw players at reserve level a number of times look every bit as good as their first team counterparts but they never made it - Noble was one of them - scored for fun - he's now in non-league I think! But it does go to show - for every 1 that gets a pro contract, there are hundreds that don't!

Noble was incapable of adding muscle density, they had him on the weights everyday and just couldn't bulk out. In the end it was the right decision to get shot of him. Shame as he was a natural finisher but because of him being a 11 year old boy physically he's failed on every level. Mandron on the overhand is far from a natural finisher but he's built himself up into a beast and his all round game has come on leaps and bounds. Mandron need some championship football imo, we need a goal scorer at the moment and he is not that so let him get the experience he needs imo, he's walking all over the U21 league at the moment. As is Watmore, no benefit in them being in the U21s. Use them or get them first team footy I say.
