As my old pal AS used to tell me constantly.........I should stick to what I know! Had the forecast from three runners!
"Oddy - Moon Racer. This may be suicide but I really don’t rate this year’s Irish bumper horses and Moon Racer’s win at Cheltenham was ultra-impressive." Snagged one at last and had a nice touch at 7s this morning. I must admit I was trying to pick some value against the hotpots yesterday but ended up backing all the hotpots
But there haven't been 7 different horses picked in every race. The panel have done an excellent job with this so I don't know if you're just trying to argue with Bob for the sake of it
A lot of crossbar hitting today apart from the first race. Well done all. I thin that was a terrific effort from everyone involved.
Well I tipped Coneygree for the RSA and I put Djakadam and Road To Riches on here for the GC, I sent the text out to my friends this morning to choose from those three and lay Silviniaco Conti for a place! Never again will I get a Gold Cup more right than that!
A big thank you to all contributors and to Bob for putting it all together please log in to view this image
I think my entrance onto the forum should be greeted in this manner every time. Most fitting. I’m not a big brandy guzzler though. Only medicinal after one has suffered a shock. 6 advices given by yours truly and although some ran like drains a 9/1 winner (Call The Cops) meant that the dear old regular readers had a profitable trip to the ‘payout window’. God bless you, Mr Henderson.
Hi SBC!! Wanted your thoughts on how you think CTC is going to be campaigned next season? In the World Hurdle market at 33/1 and is the only thing I'm slightly interested in antepost. Cheers
No idea to be honest but if he remains over hurdles I’m sure Mr Henderson would send him down the ‘World Hurdle’ route as following his win in the ‘Pertemps Final’ he is due a ratings hike which will almost certainly rule handicap hurdles out in the future. Maybe they will test the water by running Call The Cops in the Grade 1 over 3 miles at Aintree (which the great man won last year with Whisper). If he can compete at that level then it would likely be hurdling again in 2015-16, if not then fences. A slightly worry re any ante-post bet on the horse though is that he does appear to be at his best on genuinely good ground. Conditions he met at Donny and again last time out.
Thanks SBC, umming and ahhing about whether to invest a bit of dosh. Too many bad experiences in the past with antepost but when I scanned the markets that one was the only one to catch my eye.
