Just writing in general in regards to Cellino. Buying back the ground, I agree Cellino was a little hasty, but more so emotional and excited when he said he'd go to bank next day and buy the ground back. He was later mentioned in media as talking to Adler, current thief who owns ER, in regards to buying the ground back. Cellino put a hold on it because of the benefits to GFH, which he mentioned. GFH would've been 25% owners of ER too, meaning their shares would've skyrocketed and so too their 25% value. McContract was sold for 10.75 million quid, but Leeds didn't receive the full total. Part of the payment was only payable if Fulham gained promotion this season. GFH would've got their share, and there were other costs as well from memory, not sure on the tax situation with it though. GFH actually tried to set Cellino up by selling to him without due diligence, granted that's a mistake on Cellinos part, and/or his accountants and solicitors. GFH entered a clause that gave them the right to buy back the 75% Eleanora shares for 1 quid if, Cellino is convicted of tax evasion, I think it included jail time but not quite sure in that regard; this didn't happen within a certain time period and it backfired on GFH. Cellino brought in the 15 new signings, from overseas and within Britain because he was made aware of the transfer embargo, he said he could do it for 5 million, which I think he came very close too, obviously includes loan signings. Cellino couldn't spend big money because of the repercussions from the transfer embargo. The embargo also gave Cellino the opportunity to get rid of our deadwood and journeymen, which he did to offset the buying of the 15. He can't obviously spend millions this year because of the present transfer embargo. Cellino getting rid of the deadwood and journeymen, including McContract would've meant he probably ended up in front after bringing in the new 15 players. If Cellino could get rid of GFH I believe he would do however, I suspect he may be waiting on the outcome of the HAIGH V GFH court case/s. Should GFH lose, and are found to have used ill gotten gains to buy LUFC, then they could lose their 25% share in LUFC, and Cellino, or Eleanora could have first rights to purchase or gain those GFH shares. I personally think Cellino has done a good job in putting LUFC back on solid ground irrespective of his past; anyone know any honest as they come millionaires". In regards to Cellino's signings, When we had a bad start to season the fans were blaming Cellino and Hockaday. Giving credit to Hockaday, he got the team fit and playing on the ground football again, he had 2 wins in his 6 games, 1 in league and 1 in cup. Had the fans said give Hockaday time, like they kept saying about Redders before Christmas, and some still say it, then who knows what he would've achieved considering the results of the next 4 matches. Redders took temp charge after Hockaday for 4 games, he didn't have to do anything during the 3 wins and 1 draw games, they were mainly Cellino signings and we were scoring regularly and winning with multiple goals. Redders took permanent charge after Darko and he started tinkering with team, he took us to within 1 point of relegation zone. The rest you know so I'll leave you to contemplate your navel on it.
