Greens on Screen have added us to their Argyle site list.

They haven't as yet confirmed it with an email....but they added not606plymouth two days ago to their list.

Tried two years back to get us recognized as an Argyle supporters group...but received no answer from them.

Repeated the request about 3 or 4 weeks ago and eventually got told that they had received our email......told us that they had a lot of emails to answer,.....and they would get around to our request eventually which they now have.

By being on the list we might get more publicity.....and might get more greens visiting out site.....as long as they are genuine they will be welcomed.

Well done Plym. I've put a cocktail with a cherry behind the bar for you. Oh go on, and a little umbrella. If we get swamped and I have to do any real moderating then I will hold you personally responsible. It's bad enough keeping Joe, lyndhurst and BC in line as it is.

Come on you mods- clearly this is a fantastic opportunity to make money and cash in on the influx of newbies by putting the prices up in the bar.

I think you may be forgetting I already have a full time job working for HM the Queen, not like some of these layabout retired people. Besides , I am on the wagon for lent; or at least I have given up beer and just sticking to the wine, which is after all one of the 'five a day' so allowed.

You keep your hands off my cheesy onions or there will be trouble.

Good idea about putting the prices up though. All those on more than a pension pay double would be my vote.

Ripped off? I paid taxes on my wages for 44 years and I'm still paying bleddy taxes now. I'm so poor I daren't even think about working anymore in case the tax people pinch even more of it. It's to keep you people with kids in luxury with credits....

Lyndhurst, there won't be any money left for the hand outs in the next 10 years.. All the tax credits people will get them.. I had a form once sent to us and just shredded it. i would not be entitled to it or have no idea how to work the system! Some people tho need a bit of help on their low incomes. but some take the P iss

I'm an ex writer lyndhurst and even though I've been out a few years now I know the pensions rules haven't changed that much, With rank and years done you could retire tomorrow and donate your OAP to the treasury without missing it. You can't fool me.

The only money I ever got for what I would call free was child benefit and even then my first one wasn't entitled to anything until he was in double figures and the rules changed. I never got any working credits and I don't get any credits now. I pay full whack for everything except presciptions which all over 60's get and my bus pass.

oh sensible, thou doest protest too much....WO1, 35 years done leaving at age 52, no pension until age 65 (pension scheme 05). I may get a little lump sum when I retire (plus another one at aged 65) and a yearly transitional payment, but will still have to work for a living, and btw i have earned it!

As you see I don't keep up to date with it and wasn't actually aware you had to wait these days. Still, those little lump sums will add up to a bit I'm sure. "I've earned it" wot 35 years of make and mends???? <cheers>

I had a make and mend once - they are mainly for junior rates these days (apparently). My only problem is trying to find a job where every Friday afternoon off is a given (unless you are at sea) lol. TBH the money gained after leaving the service is great, esp for this area, but most cant retire on it.
