Fair enough mate, as I said I don't know a lot about the lad but if he's as promising as you suggest perhaps it might be worth chucking him in there but at the same time I wouldn't want to see us drop a promising youngster into a poor side too soon and knock his confidence. If Villa are under strength at the back as you say it might be worth giving the lad a chance.

If he's on the bench on Saturday I can't see him getting off it to be honest, not in front of other players anyway.

From Gus's perspective I think he would think it would look like a stroke of desperation, and that's the last impression he'd want to give.

He's not that sort of player mate, he's hungry, full of tenacity. Think Wayne Rooney. Full of fire. I think it's much more likely he'll lift a poor team rather than a poor team bring him down. You wanna see some vid clips? There's a few out there, doesn't give you the full story but gives you an idea of the sort of player he is, and they're very entertaining.

    20 seconds and 1.52

He's not perfect though, he can hold on to the ball too long and his delivery needs work imo.

Well he looks good in those clips lets just hope he can take that sort of form into the first team if and when he gets his chance!

Got company up from Manchester. Taking him to match along with grandson. Hopefully will see the place bouncing. Let him see what a real ground is like and not a prawn sandwich in sight.
