    Chile are playing Iran in Austria on 26.3.15 and Brazil on 29.3.15 at The Emirates.

    I would not normally be bothered about this but with the injury list as is, the last thing we need is either of these two getting clobbered in a pointless friendly.

    I did wonder whether Ramsey kept Vargas out of the Tottenham game in order to save him for a more winnable one ie Palace this w/e.

    On a separate note does anyone know if Fer is out for the rest of the season?

    At least Vargas will get a game or two with his country.

    Will be interesting to see if he is in our squad this weekend.

    I think Fer is out for the season.
    I hope Vargas plays tomorrow too....we need new options

    Fer's injury will keep him out for between 8-12 weeks from when it happened,so to all intrinsic purposes he's out for the rest of the season.
