Boddingtons bitter (real boddingtons) or Chesters mild (when kept right)

    Now drink Carlsberg or Carling.

Probably oop north here somewhere, the brewery was virtually city centre Manchester (like Boddys) and all the pubs were local though they did supply free houses quite far away. Did you like it?

I had something called Moonraker at a beer festival at The Adelphi some years back. They'd only sell it in half pint glasses, so I had about six. Felt sober when I walked out, but as I walked along Lime St to get the train home my legs just went underneath me and I was standing like Billy Connolly's Glaswegian.

I used to do home brew that was a flat as a wet fart, but three pints and your eyeballs and ears were on fire and you spoke like Stephen hawking before he got that talking gizmo.

btw, I used to drink Guiness, or thought I did till I went to Dublin and had the most wonderful pint of my life. If I ever fall off the wagon it'll be there, I tell you.

Sure I had several pints of Banks in NZ in '03, unless that's a different Banks?
