Agree with most of that but I don't see why you're not equiped to compete with the best in Europe. You're probably better equiped than ever in fact. In the past, with and without Mourinho it's always been about having the best defence but this season you've added the players in attack to cause the very best problems. The trouble for me is that Mourinho keeps allowing his sides to go back to the defensive stuff from the very start against quality teams, he should just be using that as a string to his bow, knowing that if needs be they can shut up shop and see it out. Or normally you can, you always seem to ride your luck a bit but tonight what was really astonishing to me was that you had 2 opportunities to see the game out and failed on both ocassions. The samething happened to a degree in the first leg, where you really gave it away in the second half and were lucky not to lose. Generally though we've seen time and time again that this Chelsea defence is very capable of grinding out results, there's no one better equiped to do it and tonight doesn't change that. Fabregas, Hazard and Costa are wonderful players and the likes of Oscar, Willian and Remy aren't too shabby either. Mourinho should be more adventurous with the players at his disposal but everytime he's come up against a side that worries him he puts an extra defensive player in midfield, it's very negative. That negativity runs through the team too, Costa lately seems more concerned with getting defenders sent off than he does scoring, players are surrounding the ref and Mourinho's constantly negative with the media, whether he's throwing strops over what a pundit has said or talking about how the opposition have dirty players(he's having a laugh, isn't he?). It's the kind of stuff that makes everyone glad when you lose.

I've just read the whole thread. To be honest the game seems insignificant. The biggest 2 things that come from this thread is that Blueman and Arsenal87 come across as complete tools.
