    Just a quick update on all the latest transfer news regarding our players and player maybe coming in -

    Danny Simpson - Close to being offered a 5 year deal, which is great for us as he is very capable in the RB position, he's not the finished article but he is always improving

    Jose Enrique - Probably has no intention to Sign a contract and is waiting to see who comes in for him, and if no one does then he wont say he wants to leave becuase he has 1 more year on his contract yet. so will leave on a free end of next season, basically he is playing us for a new club, its his win win situation.

    Niel Taylor - Swansea yet to except any offer from us and a confusion over a release claus. will be offered a new deal by swansea, but we still want him and he still wants to come here.

    N'Zogbia - Looks like were playing the waiting game, we dont want to pay 9m for him and we will wait and see if any other teams offers the full price and then go from there if that does happen, but apparenlty he still wants to come here.

    Lewis Mcgugan - Apparently made a 1.5m offer, that all.

    Wayne Routledge - 2m offer accepted from Forrest, looks like this could be a quick one done over the next couple of days.

    Melvut Erdnic - Wants to stay at PSG, wont be coming, forget he ever exsisted.

    Shane Long - The sun say we have made a 5m + best offer but that remains to be seen so it could be BS.

    Fabrico Coloccini - The new newcastle captain, a great choice and will do a good job, and i imagine every one else will agree.

    Joey Barton - Pardew wants him to stay and sign a new contract but Ashley doesnt, something could happen here but it might not be untill end of next season, unless arsenal come in then were screwed.

    god a hate newsnow, half of it is about notts county and the other half is top 10's with one of our players in it

    Just refine your search just to include Newcastle, I get no Notts County stories on NewsNow <ok>

    no he signed a 3 year deal when he originaly signed but is being offerd a contract extension, this is all just info that i have read online

    No it's just been in the local paper a few times.

    Also N'Zogbia's wages are too high, the fee is not the stalling point. He's demanding 60k p/w.

    Apperently according to the latest reports its not the wages at all, its the fee, i'm guessing people just said it was the wages becuase they know we dont pay anybody anything to play for us anymore. still not bad for a weeks work though

    If that were true, wouldnt Wigan let everyone know that a fee had been agreed to try and spark some sort of bidding war/have N'zog not move to Newcastle since apparently he hates MA
