    Difficult to say right now. Happily our season isn't over yet whereas you lot are looking at the league and begging the PL to blow the whistle now.

    Only 1 trophy has been available to win at this point in the season and we lost to the team that won it.

    It really is quite #desperate to continue trying to equate Liverpool and Everton this season <ok>

    You mentioned being top of the form league....I just asked if you got a trophy/were top of the league based on that and also being unbeaten since xmas<ok>

    Also this started with your post on Rodgers being the best British manager.....When it's clear others have won more<ok><ok>

    Its constantly pointed out that history means nothing, that the league table never lies, that only current football matters etc.

    Based on those points Rodgers is by far the best British manager, unless PJ wants to move the goalposts yet again.<whistle>

    First of all I linked to a video people might be interested in with no comment on whether I agreed with it or not.

    Secondly, that video asks "is there a better British manager", not "was there...".

    Thirdly, I brought up being top of the form table in the context of your claim that our performance this season was a worse than last season. Of course we are already being compared to a much higher standard than Everton since we came second, but also our current performance is fantastic and not worth criticising.

    Fourthly, we might finish 2 places lower than last season. You might finish 10 places lower than last season. So suck it <ok>

    BTW here's something to keep in mind for the weekend:

    If Everton lose to Newcastle, and Leicester get at least a draw, then Everton will have the second worst home form in the league

    (They can't have the very worst form because QPR play away this weekend)
