    Gobsmacked. She would have won a distance. Still had a great day but that would have been the icing on the cake though. Glad that Ruby and Annie Power are both OK. Christ <doh>

    How on earth did they get away with that - 20 years of watching this sport and I have never seen a horse save those horrible bookies skins in the way that fall did......... I am in shock and I never had a penny on it - how that guy who had the 50k on must feel .

    Yes - as you say, they are all ok - L'Unique, though beaten at the time, fell over Annie so glad to see them both well.

    And my 4 folds are still alive as I have Don Poli in the mix - so lucky me. Maybe!

    Just an unbelieveable day one and it just leaves you gutted- I haven't even had a penny on any of those winners and it's such a shame. As they say though, that is sport.
