Critical time of the season, you need all your experienced players back now, Stevie, Glen, Lovren etc
Lovren starting to look ok, even Johnson looks half decent in the back 3 which is something I never thought I'd say. Mario though still ****e!
I think we have more than enough to handle Liverpool, yes at Anfield it's usually a struggle (always has been for Arsenal), but any other place than Anfield, and I fancy our chances against them. They are playing on form again, but just team wise I feel we stand out more than them.
We tend to up our performance in big games though so any superiority you (think) you have may well be negated by that. On form you're a dangerous side but you won't go tip toeing and picking passes around us like you did against Utd.
We don't need to tip toe pass around you to win, we have shown we can play ugly and still win, heck, United even had most of the ball yesterday and most of our tip toe playing came when they were down to 10-men, yesterday was not a classic-poetic performance from Arsenal. I still think we're superior to you as a team, . I just think in midfield-attack, we have more quality, and much more options, both attacking wise and defending wise (in midfield). Ozil-Sanchez-Ramsey-Coq-Cazorla for me are superior to a Sterling-Coutinho-Lalallana-Allen-Lucas-or the Pires-lookalike you have. And then in back up depth for midfield, we still have so many options like OXO-Theo-Rosicky, you guys don't really have much options other than the ones i just mentioned for you.
Btw on yesterday's game, been thinking about it, did United even have a clear cut chance in the second half? Did Shezny even have to make save? Can't remember him having to do anything in the second half nor United making one actual chance. Even in the whole game, other than the goal, United didn't create any actual clear cut chances, they had the Di Maria shot on goal which you can say was a decent chance, and one good interception on a flicked ball, these were just normal decent chances you get in every game, but other than that, did they make any actual real clear cut chances, and did Shezny have to make any major saves? We basically did what United have always done to us, we let them have more of the ball, more of the passing, but we created most of the chances, and end up winning. In hindsight, yesterday's game was very comfortable for us.
I'm still buzzing from beating those ****ers last night. It had been way too long since we last won and to slap their faces in their own back yard felt ****ing great. The icing on the cake was Welbeck (their best academy player) scoring for us and dumping them out of the FA cup and another little sweet note was seeing their desperate cheating antics finally blow up in their faces. Viva Van Gaal
Then bounce straight back up at the first attempt, win a couple of cups, change a couple of managers and away we goooooo
It took nearly another 20 years before you won the league though You forgot to mention lose a couple of cup finals.79 springs to mind
It would do a lot of your younger fans good to know what the really **** times are like, the same could be said for ours
