She needs a 3 mile test i think Drever, but to be fair what do i know i have backed nothing but rubbish so far! I like L'unique at 20/1 and 8/1 without the fav.
Ha ha!! Re-invest it, think 25/1 is a cracking price and I'm hopeful of a place at the least. Annie Power returning from a year off after injury - she ain't no Quevega.
one punter had a £50k 4-timer with Stan James!! He got 2/1, 4/5 and evens so has £540k running on Annie
Lets just ensure the bookies winnings thus far stay in your pocket! Im sure most will have their betting laid out well in advance! Dont be ahead now and behind by Friday!!!! Sorry to put my sensible head on but spent 1 Saturday afternoon betting Frankie COULDNT go through the card after having his 1st 3 winners!!!!
I really hope Ruby takes Annie out wide as I can only see a fall or something else falling in front of her preventing this. This will go down as the bookies biggest hiding since Frankie's magnificent seven. Back to the Champion I think Sam Twiston Davies showed why he will never write his name among the champs. He may as well have stopped riding and got off half way round. I am not a jockey but I know enough to see that when he is riding a horse who can win a class 1 at 2m4f that if the hot favourite known for a turn of foot is setting such a slow pace you need DO SOMETHING. A normal jock just lets the race pan out and see what happens, a top jock takes action, he needed press Faugheen to go faster by pushing the pace alongside, which would have also put the favs jumping under pressure. He would likely have not won but he just did nothing.
I've got a Mulins Lucky 15 waiting on Annie and a UDS/Faugheen/Annie treble. Having backed the first 3 heavily in Singles today I've got my sensible head on and resisting the large single lump on Annie. She's miles clear of them in reality but hedging my bets. Go on my gal.
I watched Annie on the morning line this morning and she was a little lit up and edgy. Mullins has warned that they can be a bit fresh first time out and that is why he said he didn't want to go the World Hurdle route first race back. e/w on L'Unique for me- has some strong course form especially on the good ground it seems- remember her winning a Grade 1 at Aintree pretty smoothly as a novice. 25/1 on the exchange is a bit of an insult if Annie pulls for her head for a mile.
