The Black Cats were due to face the London club on Saturday 18th April, but the cancellation has been confirmed due to the Gunners' progression to the semi-finals of the FA Cup. Arsene Wenger's side beat Manchester United 2-1 at Old Trafford thanks to goals from Nacho Monreal and former Sunderland loanee Danny Welbeck. A new date for the game will be confirmed in due course.
