What about Matty James, Will? He'll be better than Scholes in a few years. Andy King? Easily worth £5M. Jeff Schlupp? A £20M move to United is on the cards. Mahrez worth £10M my ****ing arse.
What about this cracker from Jan 2013? "I wouldnt swap Knockaert for anyone in this league, he is just great entertainment. Just watch the video, he is capable of pulling anything off" How that video has never made the news amazes me.
Listening to Leicester fans big up their ****ty players and rabbit on about how much they're worth is like listening to some senile **** at a car boot sale trying to barter with you and sell his worthless ****e for ridiculous prices. It's hilarious, really.
In a way beating Leicester and getting a 12 point gap shouldn't be necessary. If Leicester overcome the current 9 point gap it'll probably mean we've had a terrible finish to the season and we are in the bottom three.
Letting them have a point on Saturday might just keep them hoping and scrapping for their lives and hopefully taking the odd points off our real rivals?
Its better than a loss but considering we probably only need 5 to 6 points to stay up bagging 3 on Saturday is huge. Its best to just get the points we need as quickly as possible especially with our schedule.
Oh yeah you're right but I really don't think they're that bad a team! And they'll be targeting this game for 3pts! Like I've said on many a thread it's the Stoke game we f'cked up!
This^ we need to get our points now, our run in is scary and after Leicester, the easiest game we have left is Burnley and they're our bogie team. I'm going to predict we'll finish 17th....
We've sold 2,000 tickets and we've got another allocation on the way, so it should be a decent turn-out.
it's interesting really to me, they're very different to us. i think City (Hull) fans are naturally pessimistic people, and we say players are worse than they actually are. When the rest of the country's fans and media are ****ing about, say Huddlestone, we - myself included - say he shouldnt be anywhere near the team and he's had a terrible season. The reality is probably somewhere in between. We seem to like to knock people down a peg or two, whereas Lester and those from both of the North east clubs immediately think every player they sign is a world beater and the envy of the rest of the league. We are very hard to impress in Hull I think, not just with football but with life. We kind of shrug our shoulders at stuff that the rest of the country goes mad for.
Good. Being pessimistic means we're less likely to be disappointed by things. Leicester fans have set themselves up for disappointment this season because they were too cocky, too arrogant and too idealistic. They've been brought down to Earth with a loud thud.
But don't bother registering because you'll probably last for all of 10 seconds after your first post.
