The Leicester game is the first chance we have to eliminate the threat of a relegation rival. A win for us would open a twelve point gap between the teams which Leicester could not close. The problem is City never seem to take opportunities like this, but let's hope we can break the habit. UTT
I do so hope your right in that Craig. The last line of City , never doing things the easy way. It would be Brilliant for once just to knock over a team , who are far worse , with a lot to play for. And add the bonus of securing a future. If City lose to Leicester, I really fear for our club.
I think even if we lose, we will still stay up. currently on 27 points, i think 1 win and 3 draws from our next 10 games will see us safe on 33 points with better goal difference.. or 2 wins and the odd draw to make it more comfortable.
Your season isn't riding on saturday by any means but ours probably is. We have to beating sides like you at home to close the gap For us its a must win and for you its must not lose, but even if you did your still in a decent position
Every time I've watched Leicester play they've looked ok! I'd take a point now! It's the Stoke game that's still annoying me!
The only game where we didn't show up in was against Swansea, they hammered us from start to finish but even then it only ended 2-0 No one has put more then 3 past us or beat us by more then 2 goals. Bottom line is we are too wasteful in front of goal and we concede too many soft goals. Huth has made of defence look a lot better and Kramaric has just started to get to grips with the league. 7 of our 11 games left are at home so its a massive order but we still have a chance of getting out of it but we really have to beat you lot on saturday
Teams like us? Who's squads cost probably double, in both fees and wages, made of proven premier league players, and not managed by Nigel Pearson? You'll fluke the odd game, as you did at our place, as evidenced by the whopping great total of 18 points you've amassed. But Leicester City with this squad, managed by that blundering fool, can't really expect or look to take any points from any game at this level. Perhaps excluding Sunderland.
We have a pretty decent team were just carrying a few players which is costing us. If we think we are as bad as the table looks then more fool you. Just because you spend a lot of money on duds like Hernandez doesn't prove anything. Mahrez cost us 400K and we would make close to 10M on him now so I don't see what how much the squad costs has anything to do with it. We will see come saturday if your so cocky.
As always, you're completely delusional. You are already down, you have been since Christmas. What's the point of stating that 7 of your last 11 games are at home, as if that offers some kind of hope, when you have only won 2 home games all season and have the worst home record in the EPL? To survive this season you are going to need 33 points I reckon. That means you need another 15 points from 11 games when you have so far only managed 18 points from 27. That kind of turn around just doesn't happen in the Premier League with inexperienced Clubs.
Don't forget Knockneednoheart he's worth in excess of £10m. Same old ****. You're bottom of the league for a reason, you're ****.
"Knockaert should never ended up here, it was a complete stroke of genius by Steve Walsh to find him and then convince him to come here. He is that good and his potential is scary." - Proud Fox - Jan 2013.
Villa's victory over WBA last week put the first nail in Leicester's relegation coffin. They have a reasonable run-in though with only Chelsea and Spurs of the current top 6 to play. And still to play us, Burnley, QPR and Sunderland. 9 times out of 10 they'd probably go down (I've not check the odds) but you just never know. But we're 'Safe as Houses' cos Danny Murphy said so on MOTD back in October or whenever it was....
Don't forget AKCJ's fave, Liam Moore. Apparently according to him he's good enough to be first choice for England for the next decade. Well, last season he was anyway.
I'm nervous about this one (especially as it's the only away game of the season for me!) It's a big chance for us, but I'd definitely take a point after the last two trips to the KP, which performance wise have been absolutely atrocious.
