The big difference in this story is that Cardiffs chairman had the bollocks to admit that he was wrong and that he had made a deeply unpopular choice of shirt colour and badge. Our chairman, Allam, has repeatedly dug his hole bigger and bigger by not discussing it with the fans and making hugely derogatory remarks about anyone who dare voice an opinion against his ideas. Had he accepted that his ideas were hugely unpopular and changed back then he would have had most peoples admiration for doing so. An apology for lying to supporters wouldn't go amiss either.
If it is, they've done a lousy job, it looks absolutely **** all like the Cardiff Town Hall dragon... please log in to view this image
For those lacking in dragon knowledge, the European dragon is generally depicted with wings and is a fire breathing monster, whereas the Chinese dragon has no wings and is a far more friendly creature. This is a typical Welsh dragon(as depicted on the national flag)... please log in to view this image This is a typical Chinese dragon... please log in to view this image The new badge is definitely more Chinese than Welsh.
That was the major influence. It looks more like that one than the previous one with large wings stuck out. Still who are these others to say when OLM differs and will go to the usual ridiculous lengths to try and show he is right whilst saying anyone else doing the same is argumentative and pedantic. As someone who has a relative who played for both Cardiff and Swansea I consider my opinion to be more relevant. (He was from Hull but started off with Scunthorpe. Even in the early 1960s City let people get away.) http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31795873
What does having a relative playing for a football club have to do with knowledge on dragons? How many dragons have you slain Castro?
It has bits of both to appeal to two markets. However it is heavily influenced by the one on Cardiff Town Hall. Certainly a better representation than what we had once along with a bridge that is in the East Riding on the badge.
And I said it was influenced by the the dragon on Cardiff Town Hall which was correct, as confirmed in the link, and your shrieking it wasn't was incorrect.
Why should I dislike someone I have ever met? Especially someone who on matters concerning Hull City I fully agree with.
