Or they would think that I was more concerned with all the riches of the CL, retaining our best players and getting new talent to join us. No one moves to the prem to play in the bloody FA cup. It's a relic

Blame the fan yeah<doh> Nothing to do with the cash from the CL or the better quality football in the CL over the FA Cup.

The modern game makes the FA Cup worth less than 4th.. not the fan you dummy<laugh>

They were bad challenges is all I am saying, the studs on Badon was certainly meant, can't speak to the others but the sliding studs out one was wreckless and another ref might have pulled out a red for that

To be fair I thought Lovren was solid today. Lallana wasn't good, just as much as Coutinho and Sturridge wasn't. To be fair, Blackburn really restricted space today and the little chances we did get we didn't take. We're still in the comp, still favorites to get through but we have to face them with more aggression.

How did we go 90 minutes not scoring against Blackburn ? Rodgers got it badly wrong. No cutting edge lots of crosses all cut out by the Blackburn defence...<doh>

Either way, it was another average performance from him. Great example of his limitations is when he took a long ball brilliantly, beat his man but decided to turn the other way. Needless turns and limited intelligence.

Lovren was awful and he's embarrassment. Quite possibly the worst defender ever at the club. Likes to attack the ball - good intention but his execution is poor and he loses out. Awful positioning as well.

I don't like it much but there's no denying that its a lot less short sighted as a vision for your club's future than your viewpoint is

I can't stand fans (not proper fans imo) that couldn't care less about the FA cup, or any other cup.

    I want ****ing silverware FFS.

I also believe we have more than enough in our squad to carry on with a top 4 spot and target winning the FA cup.

I don't remember you even making a single post about your game when you went out of the "best domestic cup in the World"

Virtual repeat of the Bolton game. In truth we haven't played as well in the cups as we have in the league. Seem to really struggle against lower league opposition. Perhaps it's a motivation thing. Sturridge needs to man up and stop falling over.

We're actually worried about your game meaning we will not be at our best for Blackburn, not the other way round :bandit:

  18. Or he turned the other way having seen there wasn't a red shirt in the box. He never got goal side of the defender either so hardly beat him, he made enough space for the cross.

Not having that mate, he cut on his left foot, going towards goal but decided to go back out to the wing. He did everything right until the last bit - which is what he always does and it's why I said he's not good enough to be starting for Liverpool.

Our best attacker (well, our highest scoring attacker) was played at wingback to accommodate Lallana.
