I think Toure is the sensible option. Sakho is a better player but a back three of Sakho, Johnson and Lovren sounds scary. Least Toure will bring vocal organisation.
Owen keep saying the player got the ball despite slow motion replays showing him kicking Lallana's foot
Doesn't sound good for Skrtel. Hopefuly just a bit of concussion and not any damage to the body. Should be able to recover from concussion in a week or two... As much as I don't rate him as a defender he's been ok this year and formed part of a settled defence. Time for Lovren to take that CB position in the coming weeks with Can & Sakho either side?
Markovich's development this season has been somewhat underwhelming. I really don't know what makes him better than Downing other than that he is young and foreign.
Who ever is doing the bbc live text seems to be a bit bitter about our defence and is forgetting how good it's been in the last 3 months... "Liverpool line up with a back three of Glen Johnson, Martin Skrtel and Dejan Lovren, with Emre Can pushed into midfield. Best of luck to you Martin..." "If Blackburn don't fancy their chances now, with a back three for Liverpool of Toure, Glen Johnson and Dejan Lovren, they never will." "Liverpool's back three - I won't keep going on about this, honestly - but they look very dubious to me."
Liverpool are the only club in the country where if the defender get's the ball from their attacker it's a penalty ( you may not have gotten the memo ) . They have pretty dodgy rules in terms of the workings of the form table them scousers too. No mention of the stonewall penalty Blackburn should of had for the Sterling handball
