LL, don't take things to heart dude (I know thats me telling you what to do but hey please log in to view this image ). People shouldn't be terrified to word things the way they want and be super scared so to keep re-reading their posts before they post. As long as its not damn right rude which he wasn't imo.
Hey'up Josh, wasn't taking it to heart as such, but Boggers knew what he was saying, and why he said it, trust me, it wasn't a humorous dig. It's case closed as far as I'm concerned......
Not seen this level of appeasement since Neville chamberlain came back from Munich clutching a piece of paper. Shameful, truly shameful.
LeedsLover, I have to say I always enjoy reading what you have to say cos you go in depth when I cant be bothered! I also feel you, and chippy, make an awful lot of sense on here and I'm with you guys with regards to Redders. Well, mostly anyway. I do honestly feel that we've got a bit of a quandary now as I don't really see Redders being the man who will help us challenge next season due to his lack of any real tactical nous and other reasons. Yes we have won a few games but whenever I've seen us play this year we've been just better than crap, average to put it another way, and I think that is the bottom line really. But if we were to go in another direction who would we want and would we realistically get in to replace him? Would this de-stable the side too much? To be fair to him, Redders has been saying we are short of wingers and other positions for some time so you could argue that our playing style has been somewhat chosen for him. Umbers/Cellino was never going to bother strengthening any more this season. The real test would be IF Redders had all the players he wanted how high could he take us next year? And could he learn to develop potent plans B and C for when things aren't working? Will he ever rotate and rest some of the squad to prevent burnout (these are young kids that need time off to really develop too, so pick Sloth, Montenegro, Adryan and our top goalscorers Antenucci and Doukara FFS!) I'm not so sure Redders really has what it takes and I seriously dont want to waste another year trying to get it right next season and find that our season is once again over by Christmas. So that's where I stand. We have now won 7 out of the last 10, but we've not really played well in any of them. But wins are wins and if we got rid of Redders now the media would have a field day, and I guess, the majority of the fans would be incensed. I didnt want him appointed but I do appreciate he has delivered the bare minimum this season and keep us up and for that I am thankful. You could argue that he would be unlucky to lose his job but, if it was my club and my decision, I'd be at least looking for somebody more capable, more motivational, more experienced and tactically savvy for next season.
Best pot Xmas for years but with the players we have we should be pushing for promotion. Redders isn't savvy enough, good enough or tactically aware enough.he needs to get back to the kids and not bring the kids to him
