He'd be flushing his career down the pan. He's not good enough, the sensible thing for him would be to sign a new liverpool contract.

Or come back to us for free <whistle>

Liverpool have a great chance in cementing their place in the top four over the next few years considering everyones squads. It would be a huge mistake to let him go.Not that Barca will be interested.

Think they have a 100k+ going spare in wages once Gerrard departs. If there's genuine interest he'll sign a mega bucks 5 year renewal.

Anyone know if we had a sell on % ?

So he will play a big part at lfc but Barca will not be interested,if he carries on in the same vain as he is now i cannot see any reason why not ,with the added bonus of getting him on a free, time will tell im sure.
thats what i asked in my original post

He is good enough imo, his speed of pass is breath taking and he also can deliver the killer pass. He is improving nicely at Liverpool and may wish to stay there but who knows, Barca would tempt anyone, and doesn't one of his old team-mates play there

Its hard enough for barca to integrate a player brought up through la masia. He's good but he's not world class, which is where barca will be looking

Talking about former players, Gardner had a good game for WBA yesterday getting crosses in. Gus should not have signed Bridcutt or Gomez, and kept him. Sess, Henderson, Gyan, Jones, Bent the list goes on, and that's why we are pap.

I think he's a better player than Busquets mind, and he's a shoe in at Barca.

He moves the ball very well and has great touch, actually going to Barca could MAKE him world class.

Won't happen like, clearly, but he did turn down £85k a week new deal didn't he?
