Anybody else just watched that cheating Watford **** go down to get the Wolves lad sent off? What a ****er.
Absolutely, they were dead and buried and certainties for relegation IMO with Clark in charge. Millwall look ****ed now. Hahahaha.
I think the disruption of the squad and failure to adjust to the demands of the championship has been the downfall of many. It makes you appreciate what a good job Nigel Pearson did for us.
I'm not doubting you but you got any figures for that. Be interesting to see over the last 15 years say.
Exactly, sadly too many people are blinded by the (let's be honest, ****ish) way he left us, and always ignore what he actually did when he was here.
Not starting a new thread but watching the Villa v WBA game. Anyone else think Jenas looks a bit creepy??
Found this from last May: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...unce-straight-back-from-the-Championship.html This is from one of the comments below: Over the last 11 seasons the team that won the Championship has been relegated 45.45% of the time, 2nd place 27.27% of the time and the playoff winner 54.55% of the time. So it seems finishing 2nd is the best position.
Agreed, people don't apprictiate what he managed to achieve whilst he was here and just focus on him leaving. To clear out the PL dross and build a solid championship side ready to compete for promotion on such a small budget is quite remarkable really.
Wolves & Swindon apparently. I think it's the following seasons where teams have been relegated that you might be the thinking of.
I thinkQuill (OLM Poodle) confuses his opinion with factsNice of him to check if what he has written is facually correct.Plonker.Is he at uni or propping up a bar.Let us hope it is the latter.
