Along with Morgan, Jay is another of those players... JayRod: Despite all the Club's offers to keep me at Saints, I feel that to improve myself as a player I must g... Me: Bye.
Can stop worrying....they are back tomorrow. Let's hope they get on the plane with as many legs as they left with
Fonte obviously enjoyed it and may do it again (better check the small print in your player insurance, Jose), but he avoided answering the question about what the players thought of going somewhere cold rather than hot Just said that Koeman thought it was a good idea and he should know and they got used to the idea...very diplomatic. I think it was far better for team bonding than asking for someone to put your sunscreen on.
That's true, but having been to the osteopath only just before Christmas and finally finding out that my trick shoulder that stopped me from doing competitive sailing a couple of years back was down to a fall I took in my upper back [one of my ribs is fused solid], in the early 1980's, while skiing [it was the only injury that could explain the condition of my skeleton], there are more dangerous places and less dangerous places. Whilst this isn't a hard and fast arrangement, there are differences in the probability of accidents, according to the person [remembering well that we're all different, as you said]. Let's face it, I should have a vague idea of this as I have tended to major in pastimes that could be said to be hazardous [that red thing on the left is example enough for most people], so I kind of know when I'm relatively safe and when I need to look out. I'm now waiting for the Samsung's battery to catch fire and burn me..!
Haha is that Djuricic screaming "Yes Clyney!!" before falling over?! Seriously though, how are they all so crap? They're all millionaires ffs, and it takes 2-3 hours to learn. Pizza and French Fries, boys!!
The best bit about this trip is it is Saints doing it different again; doing it our way. The Southampton Way.
I have a mate who went skiing, stepped off the coach, slipped on the ice and broke his ankle. Of course, he was drunk at the time! I would say, a tad more dangerous than lazing on the beach but if they get away with it then, great.
OK...any one of you know where the players are? They look like a bunch of teachers on a trip who have forgotten they are supposed to be watching the kids
@iamryanbertrand: Blessed. The places football has taken me. I've seen so much of the world and Switzerland was up there with the best. #davos#switzerland
We've come a long way from Bill Shankly's description of Saints as an Ale House Club [polite for pub football team] . Now we're an Apres-Ski Club and it's taken only 50 years to get there.
On the other hand I enjoy ice-hockey and one thing it definitely has over football is the attitude of 'if you want foul our best players you're going to have to pay the price'....and sometimes you really do! Alongside the reports from North American media that the best players to interview and get along with are always ice-hockey players [not so many prima donnas]. Having a relative who was lined up for a top career in the NHL I know this first hand. It's a very tough sport.
