Cherries were superb. With the red card that invariably comes during these one sided games: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31654572
Sorry Beef, but if they keep this up they'll have you parted with your money forever.

Was trying to find some match highlights last night of Cherries v Fulham, so I could see how well Andrew Surman played. Just realised while typing this that my Saints Player membership should get me into the Cherries site too, so there could be some highlights in a day or two.

We don't get a lot for our Saints Player money now...used to get interviews etc which are now available to everyone.

Yes, I've been thinking how diluted it has become for quite some time. Mind you, we get pretty good highlights. I can't always download the 90 minutes from Footballorgin, because mysteriously, they don't always choose a Saints match to make a file from.

Confirmation that if you have a Saints Player account you can sign into the Cherries Player too and watch their games and interviews. Just watched their demolition of Fulham and it was very impressive indeed. In what was a fairly physical game in terms of its competitive nature, AFCB played a high-energy, fast and open game. When they lost the ball they were tigerish in getting it back, swarming around the Fulham players when possible. From the fairly good highlights I saw AFCB were full value for their 5-1 and it could have been more. Old Saints lad, Andrew Surman must do some pretty good work in the background because the only real sign of him was when Cherries scored a goal and he ran in to help mob the scorer. But they are a hard working, imaginative and skilful team with no real stars, and it is that that draws the attention. It doesn't matter who's doing the good stuff.

Oh, the sending off. Quite soft, in my opinion. Wilson was looking for it and was folding his legs on the barest of contact, and the Fulham defender gave the referee just enough excuse to show the red card, by getting near enough to the player. By then though AFCB were already 3-1 up and the game was only going one way. I also watched the Wolves game while I was at the Cherries site and saw a few Solent interviews as well. They displayed a similar level of commitment and skill.

I can see AFCB getting promotion, either automatically or via the play-offs. Their game, at the moment, is one that Premier league teams will lap up, in my opinion, and send them straight back down. They are far too open for the Premier league, but it is certainly entertaining stuff. Hopefully, if they make the leap, Eddie Howe has the ability to tighten the team up and Bournemouth have the financial muscle to recruit, to see through a season of survival in the top flight. Then, anything might be possible.
