we can't lose this game but if we do, to the team that will guarantee Millwall's relegation, we will still win really

Fulham 1-0 down to Bournemouth after 30 mins. *snigger* McContract's got a bit of work to do to be remembered as the man who got Fulham promoted. Or have I spoken too soon ......
Evening all. Big game tomorrow. Think we'll have to work hard with hopefully Sharp up top & scrape home -0
Lee, That was some game, I was at the qpr game previous, orobably the best game I've seen at ER. Pity it all ended with coventry still hate hate them and micky gyn I think it was who scored,
Yeah was baird, Was a long journey home as I burnt out the clutch,in the car park but hey was worth it.
Was in the West Stand and was level with the penalty area as I remember it. That was a real era to do your Leeds apprenticeship in!
Hey'up Elland, On paper, we should have a midfield that can at least match it with most other teams but, as individual midfield players, we don't seem to be able to dominate matches for the biggest majority of the game; could it be because they are not playing as a midfield unit, but more individually, that's the impression I get. Since changing to the lone striker formation, goals have not been forthcoming as most of us would've liked. The through feeds to our striker have been dire, our attempts on goal have dropped and our on target shots have whittled away, but we have had some luck on our side. Watford I believe have played the 4-4-2 formation with 2 strikers for most of season, and we saw first hand the rewards, especially as Watford have scored 70 goals for the season so far, as they say, games are won from the midfield. Going back to the Italian influence earlier in season (no throwing rotten tomatoes or soggy cream cakes, but if you do, can you include a couple of trifles), but during Redders temp role, the Blackpool and first Derby games we were scoring more goals more freely. Our two strikers were getting the feeds, and scoring, and our midfield weren't being over run, even the Sunderland game saw our midfield dominate and keep Sunderlands mids quiet. The 4 games Redders had as temp( which he had nothing to do), we won 3, drew 1, scoring 8 with 2 against. Blackpool we won 3 -1 and beat Derby 2-0. Both Duke and Antenucci were scoring regularly and the midfield were doing their job to help create those goals. Since Redders took over permanently and started slowly dropping many of the overseas players, and bringing his favourites in, we played 21, we won 8, drawing 4, losing 9, scoring 24 with 27 against; this is not promotion chasing form. Last 11 games are going to be interesting considering the teams we have to play, and being the end part of season.
Morning all. Given the state of the pitch, this might well be part of the Leeds kids' learning process; i.e. finding out they have to battle occasionally & not just rely on pretty footy to get a result. Do we know if both Austin and Sharp are available today? Both will have an important role to play
Austin is out for at least another week according to reports in midweek. Sharp will play on his own up top, not because he should, but because Redfearn is clueless. We should be playing with any two up front. Antenucci and Morison would be my choice.
